Fanad House

I rented a studio apartment at The Maltings in Birr for 3 months. The rooms have been renovated to a high standard and come furnished with everything you need for an extended stay. The building itself is very secure and there is ample parking outside. The rooms overlook and couldn’t be closer to the Camcor River, which is very beautiful with a weir a short distance downstream. Dealing with Canbe Hospitality could not have been more efficient or pleasant. All in all, I highly recommend this establishment. Birr is a heritage town and has many fine walks. The Castle Demesne is a short stroll away and is well worth a visit, with great areas to explore, beautiful gardens, kilometers of pathways and the historical great telescope, the Leviathan, onsite.
