RedDoorz Plus @ Tendean

I’ve visited this place over the weekend and it’s definitely not a hotel. It’s more a guest house or what Indonesians like to call “kos-kosan”. It’s located around Tendean area, inside a residential complex. But, it’s easy to find and they have a prominent “Reddoorz” neon box outside the house. It was a really good stay and I highly recommended this place for anyone who are looking for a homey place with reasonable price and good location. Btw, they will ask a deposit money for IDR100,000 during check-in but will return it to you once you checked-out. Anyway, their staff was really kind and helpful. At first, they gave me a room downstairs near the entrance door. It was clean and tidy. Unfortunately not what I expected. A bit smaller and no fridge inside the room, so if you need it, you have to use the public fridge in the kitchen. But later, they agreed to switch the room with a better one on the second floor. It was really spacious and comfortable, as advertised, with fridge inside. They provided standard amenities such as comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. Also, you are served with 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. But if you decided just to stay in the room, you should ask the mineral water or just prepare it yourself, or go to the kitchen and get some from the dispenser. Water heater works well and wifi connection was excellence! They provided 3 towels (2 big and 1 small). Although, it was not very white, but still acceptable. The room I was in, equipped with a bathtub in the bathroom. Though I have no idea how to use it since there was no drain stopper thingy around. If you need something to eat, there are restaurants nearby the place. You can walk a little bit, out of the complex or you can order by online transport (GoFood and GrabFood). Also, this place give easier access to some areas like Kuningan, Gatot Subroto, Blok M, Senopati, etc.
