Plaza Hotel Tanjungpinang

Bring my family 4D3N stay in this hotel. Service is good and helpful. Facility is less but price reasonable. Near town, easy to find food. From harbour to hotel only 15-20min. Next time will come back again


I really dnt understand the hotel staff contact me after 1month I have stay there and ask me to pay for the room I have send  them email confirmation and they still ask me for money. Kindly check with the hotel what is going on

Staff service was particularly good, especially the F&B. Although the breakfast spread was limited, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding! Security staff was also very helpful n friendly. I normally stayed in the deluxe room on the 5th floor, which was good but with the standard room on the 3rd floor, it was below par.

Hotel oki, only through u no good cos u dont provide land transport to & fro hotel & too costly in US$.  I have email u several times for transport but no reply from u or hotel. U forced me to buy insurrance US$16 but no transport provided. Can I claim back?

Nice Hotel

House keeping supervisor lady was very friendly and very helpful. My mum is a regular customer  I alway book the room for her since she like the hotel because of the housekeeping and security very friendly. I receive a call and message early today they told me I have not paid the hotel all my booking I book through travel agent its impossible that I have not paid I even sent the confirmation that I paid. Isit a scam. I'm afraid there a problem when my mum check in. Wanted to call the hotel but no contact num.

I came for one nite stay. And I must say that I was not excited with this hotel. The hotel was old, and surrounded by shops that were all closed. The receptionist did not look excited and the room boy looked a bit sad.
But to my surprise, the room was sizable, the bathroom was clean, dry, and the water was very fine. In short, I found this hotel acceptable. 
At night, though, this hotel was surrounded by massage parlors, bars and all kinds of drinking place. Kind of making me a bit uneasy
If there is one thing that I find much less than my expectation, it is the breakfast. There is no waiter to help out, the fruit is very minimal and the overall look is not appetizing

Room was spacious but location was a flaw, out of shopping area and eateries. Lack of transportation facilities and the street lights was dimmed after hours.
Breakfast was included with minimal menu on the table.

Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is fair compared to the price. Fair food fair service. They have spacious room tho. 

Dont you ever go round city with ojek near the hotel, it's damn expensive except you want charity .

Bad service, poor location. But actually nice for people who need low price hotel. Foodcourt around hotel with low price food, and then you can actually find so many bar, nice access to the hotel, not too far from the downtown.

Terrible hotel in a sketchy part of town. It's right opposite a row of karaoke bars with women lined up along the street, and the sounds can be heard in the rooms till the wee hours of the morning. Sheets had stains and the carpet was dusty. Free breakfast is a row of fried items - fried rice, fried noodles, fried meats. Had to survive on bread, jam and the unripe fruit of the day. The worst part was that there were several people smoking INSIDE the breakfast hall and adjacent lobby as we ate!? How is that healthy? Service was terrible. The hotel did not help us book any tours, or even call a tour company or taxi driver. They had no map, no sightseeing list, no advice on where to go and what to do. I'm vegetarian and couldn't eat the dinner there, so I brought in a snack from a halal-certified restaurant outside, and they refused to heat it up, claiming they did not have a microwave or oven in their kitchen? What kind of hotel is this? Tried to order a Coca Cola one evening, and they said they only have Redbull and beer. Staff was very unobliging and most of them did not speak English. Overall, one of the worst hotels I've stayed in.
