D'Fresh Guesthouse 

The staff, restaurant and guesthouse are a great example of retaining charm and beauty in a city surrounding. The rooms are spacious, very modern, have all the facilities you would need and are very well maintained and cleaned expertly every day. The restaurant serves a truly astounding selection of smoothies, iced coffees and teas (try the 'Cookies' iced coffee or the lychee 'fruity island') along with a great range of indonesian, pan-asian and western cuisine. All is expertly prepared by very talented chefs and served with the most friendly attitude by constantly smiling helpful staff. The real gem is the roof garden, which is a grassy area with small palm trees and a gazebo for just relaxing and enjoying an incredible view of the sun setting over distant volcanos. See photo. It's very easy to book a trip to Bromo from here too. We paid 1.2 million for 2 people with a very friendly chap called Pomo who's English is very very good and he works just one street away. His number is +62 852 9206 2042. This is a pretty cheap price. Highly recommended guesthouse.
