I had a great stay at Villa Dua Bintang with 4 friends. The room I stayed in which was at the bottom of the property, had a beautiful outlook onto gardens and the hills beyond. 
The only downside with this room was we had to climb a lot of stairs to get back to the restaurant and hotel entrance - but it was worth it for the quiet seclusion it provided.
The staff were great -  really helpful and friendly.  Mr Edy in particular, looked after us really well. 
The restaurant was also excellent.

Lovely mountain retreat

Amazing location and friendly attentive service.  
There are aspects of this place that are a little rustic - but it is all beautifully presented I wished we’d booked longer. Great advice about local walks to waterfalls - and AMAZING food.  Stay here!

Beautiful location, amazing staff

Very small boutique hotel tucked away and run by 5 friends who can't do enough for their guests.  Great service.  Great vibe.  Amazing views.  Thanks also for recommending Eri as our taxi driver / guide.  He was wonderful.  I have heard of bad experiences with guides pushing  you towards places where they get commission, but that certainly wasn't the case with Eri.  He recommended some places and we had some in mind and he was accommodating and charming.

Good stay at this hotel, wonderful place, perfect home very warm, perfect food, excellent view and swimming pool, I recommend to everyone if you want to have a nice stay

It's perfect.

When we got to our room we were so excited that we found it beautiful. These large glass berries giving a glimpse of this spacious room, what a charm. And the view of this beautiful vegetation with the pool overflowing in the back, impressive. Then we finished our wonder with the discovery of the outdoor bathroom. It's true that not everything is perfect because there was no pressure in the shower, the curtains at the level of the glass berries let the light shine and the chickens and dogs at night are noisy. But good care to leave balls that are available in the room, can be added masks for the guests. So these are the little inconveniences forgotten more in the face of the discomfort in the hotel, the kindness and comfort of this beautiful area of Bali. So we have all prepared our little meals with the goodness and comfort of this beautiful, beautiful and beautiful area of Munduk.

Little oasis of peace immersed in the green. We had a villa with a forest view, in the morning we woke up seeing only green in front of us! Super cozy room, perfect outdoor bathroom, very cold but panoramic swimming pool, staff of disarming kindness and very good restaurant! Only two aspects to consider: 1. it is a little outside the country and if you want to move even just to dine in a different place you have to organize 2. and on a descent terrain, if you have like us the last room at the bottom are a nice amount of steps a day!! But I would go back a thousand times!!

Super recommended

The villa is beautifully located in Munduk. There are waterfalls and a rice terrace nearby. The view is beautiful with the infinity pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and the service is excellent.  Highly recommend to stay when in Munduk, Bali, Indonesia.

Home close to nature

We had a family room, no view, lots of stairs to go down and up. A very wet room that smelled of moisture, a lot of vehicle noise because hotel at the bottom of a valley, there are even quiet balls available in the room for'self-telling' the song of the cock! the noise of trucks and motorcycles that go up the endless coast is unbearable especially when it rains because the noise is amplified (it often rains in this area!)

A perfect retreat away from the main road facing a peaceful valley. In close proximity to some of the waterfalls, including Munduk. We walked to Labuan Kebo, Melanting and Golden Valley. You can easily arrange transportation with the very helpful staff. Services provided by Komang, Arde, Ade and Gus were exceptional. They went out of their way to make our 3 nights stay, wonderful. The property owner was also accommodating when we requested change of room, as we wanted a better view. In the end, we decided to stay put as we had already settled in and the view we had was good enough. But we appreciate the kind gesture. Will most definitely return to the same establishment. We’ve stayed in Munduk 3-4 times previously. This has to be our top pick.

Great reception, room with sdb open, dinner and kindness, thanks for your attention, sleeping with the noise of nature, extra pool with kids, and juice for a minute, and advice if you're looking for a place out of the ordinary.
