Had a very bad experience in Shoba . Not a trust worthy place to bring kids. The workers there are rude and misbehaving. Kindly think twice before checking in. Place and rooms are budget friendly but the staffs are not good

Bad experience at Shoba Residency

DO NOT BOOK ANY HOTEL WITH "HOTEL SHOBA"- YOU WILL BE ONLY CHEATED!!
One of the Worst Trips, I have ever had with this False Hotel Accommodation, offered by GoIbibo, where there was hail and heaven difference in terms of Room Quality and facilities compared to the projected room.
For the whole 2 days we faced lot of difficulties due to this and we only trusted in your Name and Brand.

There were no electricity in the night time and those guys did not bother to switch in the generator at night and hence my parents needed to use Torch Light to go to Rest Room.
How pathetic the situation can be, when a GoIbibo certified hotel does not have Minimum Infrastructure ???
No Light, No Geyser, No Hot Water, No Wardrobe, No Bathroom Hanger,  No Cleanliness, Open Dustbin leading to Unhygienic Atmosphere, Very Unclean Toilet, Non working and very small TV without Volume which is equivalent to NO TV in room, Totally Different Room than booked... No cable connection available due to outage...No Minimum service from the hotel boys...
We have booked this hotel from GoIbibo and guess what it is a go-certified hotel.
We have no clue based on what GoIbibo has issued the certificate.This hotel has very cheap quality rooms and the management is even worst.To our surprise,they have installed some false geysers in each room.There was frequent power cut in this area.They have a generator facility for the namesake which is switched off most of the time.
And also bed sheets were not clean and torn as well. After reporting them, they did not change the bed sheets.
After promising, Goibibo and hotel didn't bother to help us in this situation.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR !!!! We will never prefer anyone to stay in such a poor hotel in yercaud

Cheap hotel with

Recently (mid of Apr'18) we stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my family. Very near to bus stand. Rose garden and boat house are at walkable distance. About the room, though older very neatly maintained, beautiful garden around, responding room service, less disturbance... Room cost also in our budget. A good veg. mess near by, food rate also nominal. Totally we enjoyed the stay as well as the pleasant climate of Yercaud.

The owner himself supervises all the hospitality/services/amenities. He is awesome human being, helping personally.  Really budget hotel for the tourist.  The rooms are very good, with all amenities like free wify, carpark etc. ..The location is its advantage.  two minutes walk from the main busstand, in the midst of all the tourist spots.  Room service available 24 hours.  Main advantage is 24 hours check in and NOT ( 11 am check in 10 am check out) as appears  in the online booking sites. I strongly recommend this for the family stay..

All honest and responsible peo the should avoid this hotel at first sight.
 This hotel management has a unique way of cheating customers and looting their money. Let me explain in detail.
This hotel will show " rooms are available " in the app ( TripAdvisor/ agoda) and after a day  the customer booked for ex. 3 rooms, the hotel manager will call and tell the customer that only 1 room is available, which will cost only 50% of the booking amount and he will help with extra cots and he will write mail to agoda for refund of balance amount. The manager will avoid picking your calls, during your stay. On vacating, the reception people will tell you to speak with owner and promise the same. After vacating, the manager will pick the call and tell you to first speak to trip advisor/agoda and to first settle his hotel bill. 
This is the experience happened to me. 
To TripAdvisor team - this hotel is against to any customer ethics and all customer policies of TripAdvisor. Hence request you to disqualify and remove from your lists.


Cheap Hotel with cheap management

Basic rooms with Indian toilets, noisy location, bad service & rowdy staff. Unsafe place to stay with family or solo. Booked through Goibibo and was harassed so much that we had to cut short our stay and head back home. NEVER EVER BOOK THRU GOIBIBO AS THEY ONLY LOOK TO DECEIVE YOU AND MAKE MONEY.
