Blessed Cottages

I stayed at the Cottages for a whole month for a Yoga teacher training and had a really good time!
The room I stayed in was clean, with nice furniture and a comfortable bed.
The staff of the hostel was very friendly and always greeted us with a warm smile.
Wifi was working quite well most of the time.
I am already missing the beautiful garden and the friendly dogs that made my stay so special!

the cottage is good . and its located very good location , natural view is so good .
and also cottage services for food and ect so much better then another option .. we will pan for next trip booked the same cottage .

The hotel is situated near Laxman Jhula. The cottage I stayed in was neat and clean and safe, alot of greenery and a beautiful well maintained Garden. 

Good location, Average food, Great hospitality by the staff members, they are respectful. 

Only one thing I didn't like is that you should order your food before 10 pm, after that they will not entertain you, they don't care how much hungry you are.

Except this a peaceful place to stay in reasonable price. 

I would love to stay there again.

Peaceful Stay

The rooms are nice and clean. Nice people but poor service. No breakfast possible. 
They didnt offer services, no information about Rishikesh. We forgot some things there and tried to contact them, but they never requested us.

Nice rooms, no services

I was booked in here whilst doing a Yoga Teacher Training Course, for 4 weeks.  On first appearances it looks really nice.  However, the rooms are pretty run down.  The bathrooms are not good.  The shower only produced a dribble of water, and the tap in the sink barely had any water at all.  Luckily the tap by the toilet was fine, so I had to bend down and use that to wash my hands all the time.
Both the bedroom and the toilet were over run with ants - but they didn't come near the bed.
The bed was huge but the pillows really uncomfortable.  The sheets were changed when ever you requested, but they were really old and full of holes. I went out and bought myself a  bedsheet to cover myself with.
There was AC, and a fan - which I had to use both, as the electricity cuts were two or three times a day - and the generator only produced enough power for the fan.
There was free wi-fi - but this was intermittent.
The staff were generally on the whole really nice.  The only issue I had was with one of the 'managers' - who was surly and rude.

The restaurant was fabulous!  Some of the best food I have eaten in India.  And the staff in there were generally lovely - the regulars.  Some of the helpers, who appeared at odd times were not so friendly.  The restaurant is the only reason it has 3 stars and not 2.  Worth going here just to eat.
