First outing with for next n was damn awesome n lived it to my best.enjoyed it made new frndz out dere ...Wish to spend more time dere with the same camp coz...I loved the journey and the trip..Really aweosome n memorable😘

Awsome triphad a great time visited twice with friends.. Its jut 3.5 km away.. 1.30 hours tack..from Govt polytechnic college Nainital. There are two Dogs Tom and jerry nd they r very friendly.. U got options to stay in a tant house or mhd house.. 

The embracing crew of the camp made our one night stay in the camp a memorable and valiant experience.
The group of young members in the camp who are always glad to help and greet.
The location is spine chilling after you drive away from the cacophony of the city life like Delhi. 
We choose the little MUD-HUTS which felt like we are clinging to life in the mid of the jungle and serenity.
At night the young camp owners will give you leisure and pleasure several activities... trek to the heights and you will know how to keep your "body and soul" together.

A place few inches closer to heaven.
Had been here in Oct 2016.
you have to trek for almost an hour to reach the camp. its really enjoyable but hectic, after a long journey to the Nainital.

Its literally a camp!!
There are mud huts with thatched roof. very picturesque.
The mattresses are damp due to the weather. can't complain!!
very basic amenities for toilet/bathroom. Dont expect much. 
The food is on demand, really tasty and sumptuous, typical paranthas and bhaji. fresh locally sourced vegetables.

Evenings we spent in the campsite with a mini bonfire and the host singing and playing his guitar.

the view from the camp is pure bliss. you can trek a little further and experience an excellent view of the valley.
Next day we went to the waterfall, its about 2 hrs from the campsite. Medium difficulty "trek", but the waterfall more than compensates for the journey.
Food was cooked at the base of the waterfall, superb..

All in all, wonderful experience. think of it as a camp, dont expect routine luxuries.

Spent 3 nights at the camp site with my wife and had a wonderful experience, away from the city and in the mountains. First thing first - its a camp site in the mountains. So don't expect many facilities.

We reached Nainital in the morning and met James from the camp site near the Govt Polytecnic in late afternoon. We started the trek up to the camp site, which is ~3 to 4 km trek. It took us around 2 hours, with multiple stops to take photos and enjoy the view. 

The days were spent trekking around, lazily sitting in the camp site, reading a book, taking an afternoon siesta or talking to the nearby villagers. The nights were spent around the bonfire, exchanging stories with the owner and his staff.
It had snowed the night before we reached and the temperatures are night dropped to 2 degrees and stayed cold and windy during the day. Thankfully, we had carried enough warm clothes.

It takes time to prepare for food and since its the mountains - the camp site has limited options for food. So order your food well in advance and expect a good 2 hours for food to be ready. 

The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. There is an option to stay in the Tents or Mud House. We chose the Mud House. Even though it was chilling cold outside, the Mud house and the blankets ensured that we were well insulated from the cold outside. The Mud house is little cramped up, and can be used only for sleeping. But no complains.

There are two dogs - Tom and Jerry, who are very friendly, and are always ready to play around. 

So, all in all, the stay here is to experience a different and simple life, away from the hustle bustle of the city.
