We are group of friends took room for 2days stay it's clean and joyful over there bathroom aminites need to be focused more reception people are more friendly
 Our stay is safe and joyful over there nice and safe place to stay with friends and family

Happy stay

The hotel is at the heart of city. The location is good in a way as most of the tourists attractions are at proximity. There were big shops and malls near the hotel. Since it is at the centre of the city there was much crowd and traffic nearby.
 Don’t go by the Hotel Photos on the App. The property is much smaller and older than it looks on the advertise. There was less space available for car parking. The reception area is not that big and is crowded most of the times. 
Rooms were good, clean but small. The interior was good. The door lock was not working. Passages were narrow. The behaviour of the staff and services experience was not modern and it seemed very old fashioned. Service was OK. 
No recreation facilities were available.  
The area for restaurant as well as kitchen was large. Food was good and tasty.  There was no option to order food in the room. The hotel was very expensive to us as we booked it online against infrastructure and services we received.

Pondicherry during our south India tour in Dec’2020

Spent 2 nights in #210. Decent and comfortable room. All usual amenities exist. A good hotel for vegetarians. Breakfast table is laid with ample food and good variety. A bit crowded, though! Spacious car parking with security. 

A comfortable stay

- The hotel is centrally located. A bit crowded place.
- Ample parking space. 4-5 security folks are available to control the parking, but no vallet parking.
- Mostly clean; though the furnishings are aging. Commode and bathroom slabs were broken when we checked in. But were promptly fixed when informed.
- looks like smoking is not controlled inside. The floor smelled a bit bad because of it.
- Check-in and check-out were fast enough.
- The restaurant is ok. The morning breakfast arrangement was good.
- Most staff expect tips. Multiple people told that they cleaned our rooms!

Overall, a good hotel without any bells and whistles.

Decent hotel to stay and with inhouse veg restaurant

I have visited few 100 times mostly passing through and stopping for food. Attempted many places. Most of the places served hot food that was never harmed the stomach bit never gave lasting impression
I chanced upon Hotel Jayaram and did not have great opinion at the time of booking all changed as soon as I visited restaurant. 

Food was awesome and I feel too restaurants in Chennai are overrated 

Great Place for Vegetarian Food

If you're not that much concerned about the beach, this is quite good option. With affordable rent, clean and spacious rooms and terrific options in restaurant for veg category, it makes up for the not so near to beach location. In Pondicherry most of the places to visit are within 2-3 km range so it's not like a deal-breaker.

Decent option away from beach

I have spent one day with my wife and daughter in this hotel. Neat and clean room. Hospitality is so good.
Here have a good veg.hotel. close to many tourist places. Parking area. Easly reachable from bustand and railway station.

Family friendly

If you're not particular about beach-facing hotel or can't find one, Jayaram is a good option. With affordable room rents, clean rooms, and efficient service, I would recommend this hotel for a one or two nights' stay.
It's quite close to the busy shopping area, so an evening stroll can give you enough buying choices around. Ashram and Rock Beach are 10-15 mins drive from here, so you're not far from the city's main attractions either.
Their breakfast buffet serves limited food, so you will end up buying extra items, but all items tasted quite good. Service at the restaurant was a bit slow.

Good option away from beach

Went for 2 days vacation trip, stay was good, Clean lines was maintained and the restaurant served good food, but the service was taking very long time, if the service can be improved.It was good for decent budget.

Overally Good Hotel to Stay

I'm a regular breakfast buyer who is very traditional and very good, but a little disappointed with the thali (southern vegetarian food) which is very average.
