I couldn't ask for a better environment and place to stay in Delhi. Before comming here, me and my husband got scam and the owner helped us with everything. I felt like they were taking care of us all the time.
I would really suggest to book a taxi with them so you can avoid scams.
The room was perfect, private bathroom, TV, fast wifi and a comfortable bed.
Thank you for everything, I'll always recommend this place!!

I stayed here with my partner for three nights and it was the perfect place for our first few nights in India. The hostel feels very safe, the WiFi is excellent and there are the most adorable pugs!! The rooms are away from the streets so all of the noise from the Main Street is blocked out but you still have access to all the restaurants/ shops etc. Definitely get the airport transfer!!! We declined and ended up trapped in a travel agents for two hours while people tried to sell us tours. The taxi driver was all part of the scam and 
tried to scare us into leaving Delhi saying it was polluted and dangerous. He also told us he couldn’t drive in Paharganj due to Diwali traffic and someone from the hotel was coming to meet us. He even fake called ‘someone from the hotel’, so we trusted him.
Obviously no one came to get us. 

We were taken to a place called the Tourist I centre near Connaught place- it had a blue front. Do not trust this place. A rep told us he was going to Kashmir the next day and that we should go with him. However, we saw the same man outside the next day trying to scam someone else. When we realised there was no one coming to collect us we got in another taxi. On arrival at the hostel we saw the messages from the hostel manager who expressed lots of concern for our whereabouts and safety, which we really appreciated.

This hotel is great as it helps people to report these scams! In a nutshell Kuldeeps is amazing and definitely get the transfer.

Perfect location hostel right in the centre of New Delhi. Beds are very comfortable and the value is excellent. The staff were extremely welcoming and helped me a massive amount with my trip! Extremely happy with my stay here. Highly recommend.

I’m Irene, I arrived to New Delhi yesterday 31-7 with my sister. We booked from Italy the Backpackers Heaven Hostel and they told us they would’ve picked us up at the airport. Unfortunately at the airport we got scamed, which is very easy in india. A fake taxi driver came and he brought us to a fake hostel , a very terrible one like a slam, and he offered us to go to an agency to book a better one . So we agreed and this agency , which was a FAKE one told us all fake informations like all hotels are full and close now in Delhi, I suggest you a tour now (very expensive) . We agreed cause we were tired and they were able to scare us(it is their job) . We arrived at the fake hotel and after a long time like 9 hours with a WiFi we reveive a big help from our hostel Backlakers Heaven, they came to pick us up, we arrived at te hired any they got the money we gave to the fake agency back .
This is to tell you to make sure not to trust anyone here, even if they look nice and professional .

I couldn’t have asked for a better place in this wild area! I got so lucky! Even Saddam at the front desk came out to find me down the street in the middle of the night when I arrived! The staff is so helpful and the Hostel is clean cozy and most importantly, cold! I’ll be back for sure! 

Best hostel I ever been to, I loved it! The beds are comfortable, the place is clean and well kept, they have ample storage space with locks for your stuff, which is wonderful. Good working free WiFi and. The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Kuldeep friends Hostel to anyone traveling to Delhi!

Daily cleaning of common areas, rooms, and bathrooms. AC works well and rooms are very well ventilated. 

Prime location near the bustling market, yet tucked away so you don't hear all the noise. 5 min walk to two metro stations and the New Delhi train station. Many options to eat including street food!

Great little place just off a busy little bazaar road close to New Delhi train station. They organised an airport pick up for us (with my name on a sign! the real deal!) which was really appreciated as it was our first time in Delhi and you really don't want to have to be haggling for a taxis after a long flight. Got driven through delhi to a manic little bazaar and taken up a dodgy little alley which at first might freak you out but once you arrive and get your bearings it's pretty safe and easy to find (signage and helpful samosa salesman to guide you).

It's a pretty basic set up, but they are really friendly and helpful and kind. Our double room was clean, comfy and had AC, hot water and good WiFi. The staff are knowledgable about delhi and India as a whole and can organise tours and travel out of Delhi but it's probably cheaper to do it yourself and they aren't pushy at all. Alicia the resident pug is adorabley friendly and it's really nice to chill downstairs in the reception and give her a cuddle while you wait.

They helped me get an Indian sim card set up and I believe they also offer a laundry service. Was a really nice start to our holiday and will definitely be back when next in Delhi and recommend them highly.

Very helpful staff: they will provide you anything you need for your trip (sim card, airport pick-up, train tickets booking...)
Its location is close to the train station, so a very good option if you take a train to go to Agra, Amristar,...
Nevertheless the streets around are narrow and very dirty... so be prepared for the caos and smell...
