My wife and I coveted to go to a resort with my grandchildren. A congenial family friend of ours sturdily recommended Hudson Resorts, Oragadam Road, Sriperumbudur. She highlighted the cleanliness of the place and the amazing food they serve in their restaurants. I decided to give it a try. Though it was by the side of the main road, we could feel an appreciable seclusion, on entering the premises. The resort was tastefully structured and it had a classy laid out plan. Astounding features were provided for the benefit of the frolicking guests. Two swimming pools, the one at the ground level, with high cascading waterfalls, and the other at the rooftop, comely situated by the side of a dainty restaurant, 'Holy Smoke'. You can take a ride on a coracle (parisal) in an adorable still rivulet embellished with fountains. Indoor games and a well-spread open space for games like cricket etc were provided. I sighted one or two figurines on the premises resembling archaic Greek sculptures. on top of everything I have to appreciate the polite and courteous staff. Each and everyone are perfectly accorded by the management to transpire implicit refinement to the guests. Now coming to the comestibles at their two restaurants, they are extremely dulcet. The live barbeque counter at the 'Holy Smoke' is a marvel as they skew fish, prawn, chicken, and paneer with dandy relishment. Their other restaurant, 'Lemon Grass' adorns a wide buffet feast with the single aim to satiate all the patrons of the resort. Our suite (not exactly) was, though a little small to my expectation, is neat and tidy. though it was on the first floor a very very spacious semi-covered gigantic porch was confronting our room, which was corking. From the time we entered the resort till we checked out, we were treated with dignity, politeness and de rigueur. We left the place heartily satisfied and with a resolution to rattle in again.
