rooms are cosy and dirty smell. kitchen has few rat (mous) breakfast plate was not clean and onwer was youngman with too much arogent attitude. The grand highness hotel is clean and new very friendly staff.

i am every year travel to diu from europe. i dont think to return to this hotel specially after corona period.

very bad smell and service

One of the worst service ever faced !!! Owner is arrogant and misbehaves with ladies. Horrible experience. Idiotic and uneducated guy. Ruined my morning and the trip.
No parking space and even the rooms are not that spacoius.

Owner is arrogant

I stayed at Hotel Palacio de Diu, Diu for one day on 24th December 2018 and checked out on 25th December 2018 morning. I have booked two rooms for one day through makemytrip. 

Room and Facilities are ok. But the hotel don’t value the customers. They  did not allow my car to be parked at the available parking spaces. They were telling that their Boss Car needs to be parked there and hence I should park my car on road. They were showing me space by the side of road and was telling that I should park my car there. As there was no option first I parked the car on road side. 

I raised the issue and the guy in reception was giving excuse that their owner car needs to be parked there. I enquired about one more parking space available by the side. Then the guy replied that there also hotel vehicle need to be parked. This shows that this hotel dont value customers. They give importance to themselves. After 1 hour they arranged my car to be parked at the parking slot as someone have vacated the slot. But their attitude was that being a customer I should Park my car on road.

Note: The hotel have parking space for only 3 cars. Another two or three slots are available which they don’t allow the customers to park their vehicles. For all other vehicles coming after filling of three parking slots, they will show road side for parking.

The hotel is good probably better than the once in diu but the manager is very rude.We were a group of 4 girls and misbehaved and didn’t cooperate at all.So if you are a girl gang,you might wanna reconsider.

Rude behaviour of the manager

A new hotel, walking distance from the seafront, fort, sunset point and other local attractions is a good hotel to stay in Diu. They have a bar and a nice restaurant, free wi-fi and one can rent bicycles from them to tour the city.

Hotel is good. Food also good and delicious. We so many times visited with family. Yesterday I went with family and guist. We entered approx 10.20 to 10.25pm. A Waiter who is serving us told me they will take last order. We agreed. And gave finel order. We respect your rules. But the style of talking with us is very rude. I shoked. We feel like that waiter is takeing some rivenge from us. At 11.04pm we request a single roti. But waiter rudely behave and told us that kitchen is closed. We just talk with owner about this issue...that waiter came and argue with us and owner also. His behavior is wild and totally unexpected. It was my horrible experience. 
My heartly request to Mr. Kalpendr please train your staff. And respect your customer.

Rude staff 

It's a perfect place to stay. Hotel is fully equipped with all facilities. It is situated in the middle of the town so it is easy to move around. Good restaurant and bar is also ther for betterment of customers.

The hotel doesn't necessarily pay the price, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is attentive and the manager makes life easier by providing all kinds of very useful information, in addition, this hotel offers a very good quality Wi-Fi connection in the rooms, which doesn't seem obvious to other hotels in Diu city.

a very pleasant hotel and an excellent price/quality ratio

Compared to the hotels in Gujarat where I stayed, this is the cleanest. It's quite spacious with air conditioning and hot water. Service is always a little slow, like in all Indian hotels and restaurants, but you can't complain about it.
