The service was pretty good. we arrived very late but they organized everything very well. the rooms are clean and lovely. 
the style of the Hotel and the Feeling is just amazing.

Breakfast was very good and we had all we need.
PS: it was one of the best coffees we ever had.

Additional I like the idea of environment protection.

We stayed just before Christmas, together with daughter and grandchildren. The hotel is brilliant now i get what shabby chic is all about. The rooms are hugh clean and warm. The staff are brilliantly helpful. There is an excellent continental breakfast and an honesty bar. The public rooms are big and the staff were quite happy for us as a family to bring back food for an evening meal and use the furniture in the public room to lay it out. Without doubt this is the most friendly and obliging hotel I have ever stayed in. Be warned there are no lifts and alot of stairs but this wasn't a problem to our group. The location is excellent a short distance from the city centre, Christmas markets and the subway. Wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommended.

A stunning setting in each room. Lovely staff welcoming staff who genuinely care for you. Where can I buy a bottle of the Bródy house wine?! It was delicious! The honesty bar with nibbles was a great touch. I would have likeed to have stayed here longer,  will definitely re book it in Budapest again. Xx

We were in Yeruska's room - amazing artwork, wonderful creative use of the space with deep bath and shower and write-on wall in the loo!  An amazing wonderful place to stay.  This is a hotel to be experienced.  The staff were amazing - friendly and helpful and the hotel is like an art studio with even the furniture making a statement - most of it is up-cycled and look like pieces of art.  Totally recomment this hotel but don't tell anyone else about it!

Just spent the weekend in Budapest staying in Brody House.
Brody house in situated in an apartment block accessed via an understated door from the street.Once inside, the building is quite unique and consists of private apartments and guest rooms.
My wife and I stayed in the Tinei room, which was large, warm an very clean with original art and prints on the walls.
The staff were very good, pleasant, welcoming and helpful 
I would definitely recommend Brody house to anyone visiting Budapest

I have never left a review for anything in my life but I felt like Brody House deserved my first. We stayed in the Weiler Studio for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was great. We absolutely loved the communal area and 'honesty bar'! We would definitely return to Brody House for another visit 100%.

I doubted the concept of love at first sight until I buzzed myself through the secure front door of Brody House.
But now I'm truly a believer.
Brody House is a quirky, appealing and very welcoming boutique hotel, located on a quiet street in the Pest area of this beautiful city - a short walk away from many areas of interest.
The hotel is a project pioneered by two Englishmen, yet there is nothing remotely 'English' about this place - apart from the fact that all the staff speak it fluently.
The architecture is classical - there is a real focus on respecting the past, with original features like the massive doorways, windows and sweeping staircase all lovingly retained. There is no immediately obvious attempt to 'decorate' as such. The bare plaster is exposed - cracks and all.
But the charm of the walkways leads you to 11 individually-designed rooms and the relaxing reception areas, full of retro-chic - reclaimed furniture, quirky ideas like a sledge used as a coffee table, a parquet floor, unique works by local artists, spectacular chandeliers.
The continental breakfast is now complimentary and served until 11am. There are a number of rooms to relax and eat in. Two of the rooms also boast an 'honesty' bar.
A party of three, we choose Julia's Studio, a ground floor apartment with a bedroom, kitchenette, large hallway/reception room and a mezzanine balcony with space for a second bed. It was cosy, deceptively spacious and always welcoming. We quickly became accustomed to the most unusual feature - that neither sleeping area had a door and that this apartment was genuinely 'open-plan.'
While in Budapest, there are certain 'musts':
1) A free walking tour (as usual, you pay the guide what you think the tour was worth at the end). Ours took across the Danube to the city's Castle.
2) A few hours in one if the city's many spas - we went to the Gellert Spa on the Buda side. It's relatively cheap and a great snapshot of local culture. Try the ice-cold plunge pool and sauna outside, as well as the 40 degrees pool.
3) A night at one of the famous Ruin Bars - we had a great time at the Szimpla Kert bar right in the heart of the city's nightlife district. There was live music and fantastic Jewish dancing and a real mix of age groups.
4) A trip to either of the city's most famous cafes - though we visited the top two, Gerbeaud and New York. Both fabulous.
5) A visit to St Stephen's Basilica - stunning!
6) A meal at a genuine Hungarian restaurant - we really liked the Borsso Bizstro and Mazel Tov but there are thousands of others...look in Trip Advisor!
7) A trip to and bite to eat at the Grand Central Market. The ground floor is pretty much all meat, cheese and groceries but there are street-food kiosks on the first floor which are really bustly and appealing - as long as you can get a seat. 
We had a look round the Parliament building, which is OK if you're into politics, but having done it once I'd struggle to justify going again. 
But one of the great charms of Budapest is that there's something interesting to see, taste or drink around almost every corner.
It's a city more in then style of Berlin than, say, Prague, in that much of the architecture is classical but dates from WW2 as much of the city was destroyed. 
The people - or those we met - are educated to a very high standard, polite, helpful and mostly, it seemed, fluent in English.
It's a dazzling city, proud of its past but very much looking to the future. 
I recommend it highly and, in Brody House, you have the perfect base for your trip.

Stayed here for a midweek, what a wonderful hotel! It feels just like home... they renovated the building with respect for the old and decorated every room with art from different artists and vintage furniture. It’s an eclectic mix of the old and new, which we love...
Room where we stayed in was huge, with a comfortable bath in the room, how luxurious! Bathroom with shower was adjacent. Bed was big and very comfortable. Room is very well heated, so are all rooms. 
Breakfast is on the second floor, where you can also find 2 honesty bars (open 24/7). 
Breakfast is delicious, best granola and yoghurt ever! 

The staff is very, very friendly and can answer all your questions. 

We’ll definitely come back when it’s warmer in Budapest!

This incredible, quirky arthouse sits on what looks like a leafy, Parisan street in the heart of the city, while still be suffciently away from the hustle and bustle. The beautiful bohemian building with its grand staircase and inner courtyard boasts these individual and uniquely designed rooms that hark back to a bygone era while still remaing modern and elegant in their finishes. In this regard if a wonderful shower and royal bed are an absoulte must, you simply can't go wrong.

The house has a communal living space whith fireplaces, comfortable couches and armchairs and huge windows overlooking the tranquil gardens of the Natonal Museum that sits directly across the street. Guests can lounge in this area all day and sip wine or drinks mixed themsleves from the well stocked honesty bar located in this space. Breakfast is also served here daily consisting of fresh fruit, cereals, hungarian cold cut meats and cheeses and delicious pasteries. 

Breakfast was complimentary during our stay and tea and coffee are also available all day. 

The absoulte stars of the experiance are the wonderful staff and ladies at the front desk. Someone is always at reception between 8am and 8pm and I cant stress enough how extremely helpful and welcoming they are. Whether its advice on how to get around the city, must-see attractions or restuarant bookings, they are always happy to assist with a warm smile.

Brody House feels like a private members-only club from the moment you walk through their doors. (FYI. enquire about membership to Brodyland). All guests also have temporary Brody Group membership, which gives them access to  ‘the civilised/raucous arts events, live music, literary dinners and happenings’ at Brody Studios. 

More intimate than a hotel and so much more inspired than an AirBnb, Brody House is the perfect way to really experiance life in this amazing city.

We had such a great stay here. The room was awesome, the staff were lovely, the location is great and the place just had a very casual feel, which is quite rare for a hotel. Would definitely stay again!

A Secret gem in the amazing area of Pest!! Not sure we should to share this experience as we feel it should be a closely  guarded secret!! Unbelievable stay !!
Great vibe , great place , great stay !
The staff are fantastic and the rooms are unique and pretty cool. Great breakfast and a fab base to get around!!

Brody Studios is also one very cool place !!
