To get to the hotel from main streets is an alley and barely space for one car

The best place with a beautiful view! the attention is of high quality. it is possible to establish a pleasant atmosphere that allows you to rest to recover strength. it is a wonder in Guatemala. i suggest you visit it!

The landscape

Old, old hotel in the middle of a dead end. Noisy because of the neighbours' dogs barking all night long. Shower of another age but hot water. What acts as pillows has served far too much. Pleasant welcome and breakfast served in a bar further away very nice. The advantage is cheap and it's a one-night stand.

Just one night.

This place was cozy but at times seemed a little sketchy, they honoured a free breakfast which was awesome, the showers don’t work though. No hot water, no pressure. To expensive for what you get though. Great location. Not super secure. Nice people working there though. Photos are different.

Should be cheaper

We stayed one night at the El Amigo Hotel.It is very well located in the middle of an alley, quietly, but 150m from all shops, restaurants, market...Excellent reception and very good service that allows you to organize the rest of your trip well.

Good value for money

This establishment has no glamour but it is located away from the dense and abundant traffic in Panajachel, from the noise (this is a big plus), it should have been very nice a while ago but we see that it is beginning to lack maintenance, it is convenient anyway! The rooms are large and functional areas with a balcony overlooking the surrounding mountain. Good bed, efficient wifi, nice reception and ease of having a breakfast early enough for morning departures. The staff is listening to you and ready to help you with the organization of your stay or with their contacts and shuttles, offers you also a small price for future travel, easy to get away from the city centre and lake, travel agencies to lunch bars.

good address to settle down

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The general impression is that everything is very old. From the entrance to the rooms everything is very old style. Showering with hot water is a roulette challenge but it's clean enough. The windows are not soundproofed so you can hear the noise of the generators coming from outside.

The European Union

The room was large and clean with a comfortable and roomy bed. The bathroom was also clean and pretty modern. We booked online for a better price than quoted in person. It's down a bit off of the main road and was pretty quiet. Breakfast was included and was a good version of the typical Guatemalan breakfast. If I could get the same affordable rate, I'd stay in this place again.

It is located in a quiet street near the center but the room was facing the reception and since the rooms were not soundproofed, until 2 o'clock there was a lot of noise. The sheets are synthetic and not very clean. Towels are broken and streaked.
