Emelisse Nature Resort

From the moment we arrived to the day we left we were treated exceptionally well. Absolutely no complaints at all about any of the staff who all go out of their way to make your holiday perfect. We had room 121 which had the most gorgeous sea view . Just breath taking. The location of this hotel is everything.. the room was comfortable and clean with lovely showers and toiletries provided. Room cleaned every day. The room was quiet and cool. We made use of the squash court hire every day which was brilliant fun and used the gym before breakfast. Breakfast was our highlight...so much choice with fresh orange juice smd coffees provided for your taste..ie cappuccino, latte etc if you preferred. Different options available...crosiants, pastries, pancakes, fruit, fruit granola pots, homemade cakes and also meats, cheeses, breads and other items available..all enjoyed at a leisurely pace on the sun terrace. The pool area is super..clean, no need to rush for a bed as there are so many available. Fresh towels provided daily if you chose, but we kept ours for the week as didn't feel we needed to get fresh everyday. The views from the pool are stunning and there is bar service all day. Great choice of drinks, smoothies and cocktails etc. There is a free shuttle bus into fiscardo that we used to get back in the evenings but we did the 5 min walk into town. Its not signposted well but easy enough when you know the path. It's not suitable for people with mobility issues or for prams etc as quite rocky. The only disappointment we had was dinner in the hotel the first night cost 107 euros for essentially a shrimp linguine, and a grilled lamb dish. It wasn't good value for money and wasn't as nice as the meals we had locally for half that price in fiscardo. We chose not to eat at the hotel except on occasion we had bar snacks at lunchtime which were great. We also made use of the spa and booked a massage which was lovely. All in all a super holiday and would come back again.
