My husband and I visited Shama Beach resort on new years day (1.01.16)and we were so glad we did! The atmosphere was serene, the air clean with lots of greenery! I couldn't believe the size of their golf park! I am definitely going to take golf lessons just so I can go back and play on their turf! When ever you are in takoradi, make sure you drive up there, it's easy to find and unlike a lot of touristic places in Ghana the road is tarred and pothole free! You definitely must try the banku and tilapa!!! Dee and I couldn't get enough! Did I mention that the chalets are not only beautifully designed (very cool.inside you don't need to turn the AC on) with very interesting and different building materials but they have some.of the biggest cleanest bathrooms I have seen...and the wifi works! We had a good.time with live band music, great food and a great atmosphere, I am most definitely going to visit again for my second honeymoon!
