The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good too. Unfortunately we were not told when we booked that the restaurant was closed and we had to take a small tour for our dinner... on the fifth attempt we finally found a restaurant that wasn't booked. It was also unusual that we had to pay Depot for the bathroom clothes... but otherwise great big rooms and good location.

Easter weekend

Hotel on the top of the hills, but accessible by car on paved road, an excellent, dreamlike view, close to the most important villages of the Black Forest, 15 minutes by car, nice room, only defect the owner doesn't speak any other language, so if you don't know German it's hard to communicate

An exceptional view

This hotel has been re-opened as the owner told us. The place were it is located is absolutely awesome. From the window you can see only green, sheeps and cows. Probably in winter it will be even better.
The place was clean, the room was big, and it was cheap. What else can be expect? I would like to be in this balcony right now...

Amazing environment.

We were disappointed with our reservation because swimming pool not included breakfast and few choices. Towels for wiping are in addition. Wifi was not working because there was very little connection in the whole establishment. I do not recommend if you need the internet.

Disappointed

Hotel to recommend without any hesitation. Very friendly staff and (wax on the Schwartzwälder) perfectly speaking French. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Very pleasant indoor swimming pool (28°). impeccable cleanliness throughout the establishment. Bathrooms a little old but perfectly clean, spacious and functional. Breakfast buffet complete with fresh products: charcuterie, cheese, fresh bread, fresh fruit, quality orange juice... Restoration of very good bill: typical dishes made with good products. Nothing to be overstated

Very pleasant.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of the Black Forest. A beautiful house with a very hardworking young hotel couple. They are very kind and helpful and the housewife always has a smile on her lips, which we really liked.

Great location, nice room - F&B not good.

Beautiful hotel extremely well maintained. More than exceptional welcome by a young couple who is attentive to your smallest requests or needs. Diana is particularly friendly and pretty, which doesn't spoil anything☺. Very good food and very good general level. Example of service offered by Diana without my request. I got injured in the foot, she brought a box of bandages and ice cream bread directly to relieve the pain. All without asking for an extra. Thank you to Diana for this constant attention to her guests. Highly recommended establishment.

A pearl in the middle of the Black Forest mountains

In this very friendly family hotel, everything is of quality: the spacious, quiet rooms with impeccable cleanliness, the dazzling view for most of them, the evening meal with a menu formula (modifiable for vegetarians) with a very good price ratio, the decoration of the hotel as a whole (rooms, sauna, swimming pool, living room with fireplace, terrace, garden...); in addition, the immediate, near or far environment is superb. An address to remember! Dazzling address!

This hotel will bring you the peace and comfort you can aspire to after a good day's walking in Todtnau or Todtmoos. The staff is very attentive and everything is of high quality, from the room to the breakfast to the swimming pool and the sauna. The peace is so present that you hesitate even before turning on the TV for fear of breaking that restful silence. A good value for money.

Peace and Comfort

Location is close to many attractions in south of Schwarzwald, a beautiful area. Hotel is very clean and the owners are very kind and very helpful. Beds are comfortable and rooms are big. We and our 3 children loved the place.
