We stayed here for 3 nights. We means a family of 10 people: grandparents, parents and kids ranging from 10 month to greater than 60 in age. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and we'll equipped. There are enough towels also for large families. The concept of the basket for the spa is great. Our rooms had very nice views of the surrounding valley and hills as well. Speaking of the views: the hotel's location is pretty remote. You can hike and bike from there but apart from that you will need to use you car. By car you can reach great destinations for outdoor activities in 5 to 20 minutes. There are so many options around, we had a hard time picking one. For kids you have a playground outside, a cool play room in the basement which has many options for various ages, a Kegelbahn and the hotel has its own horses. The gym is ok and clean but don't expect too much. The food package is great. You get a standard breakfast including choices of fresh eggs, various juices and coffee. We particularly liked the afternoon snack. You had a choice of soup, one warm dish and some cake, again including juices and coffee. The right thing after spending the day outside and before going to the spa area. Dinner is a set menu. You make your choices during breakfast and then get it served at the table. Taste and quality of the food were generally high. The spa area includes a small, just big enough pool a small jacuzzi and a selection of Saunas. The audience is of mixed age but the kids could play as they liked. Overall it was great that our kids were not only accepted but really appreciated. Staff was really nice and special requests for meals were always made possible. We definitely come back again.
