Hôtel Doussière et Restaurant l'Alicanta

This was a very wonderful hotel for our large tour group (over 30 people). We had to split the group between Hotel Doussiere, the hotel they also own just across the street, and the "annex" across the river. I stayed in the main hotel, which does not have an elevator (one of the other buildings DOES have an elevator so the less mobile folks stayed there). The room we very up to date, clean and fresh. We had a view of the river. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was a fresh croissant and lots of fruit, and "cottage cheese". Since we were in a large group dinner was a pre-set meal instead of ordering off a menu. I enjoyed all of the meals. They made special accommodations for people who were vegetarian, etc. It is a wonderful hotel, we were very fortunate to have this as our base of operation for Cevennes. I would stay there again.
