Stayed for a week in the balcony room, with breakfast. The Stella is located on one of the 12 streets off the Arc de Triomphe, but was one of the quiet ones that had a neighborhood feel. The cost is excellent given location (walkable to Trocadero/Eiffel) and the balcony is worth it for the sunsets over Paris and coffee overlooking the Arc. The room is decent size, updated, with modern bathrooms. Has both Western and European shower options and the water pressure is excellent! Every now and then I heard some other guests, but overall the rooms were very quiet and there was little noise after 9pm. The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly and speak perfect English. There is a doorbell to get in, and you leave your key when you go out, so they know who is in the hotel, which makes it very safe. I appreciated this as a solo traveler. The breakfast had a lot to offer (cheeses, meats, boiled eggs, pastries/bread, sweets, cereals, etc) and was very convenient to start the day. The neighborhood has many brasseries and restaurants and I tried most of them, but the best by far was Le Hide (don’t miss eating there if you are in the neighborhood- it was amazing, even by Paris standards!) Lots of shopping nearby too, with all the big names on Champs Elysees across the Arc. I would definitely stay here again!
