A beautiful B&B with gracious host and hostess. We loved our three days at Le Petit Schelishans - lovely rooms, friendly atmosphere,close to the city of Strasbourg and an easy drive to the Route du Vin. There were four in our party and since it was the middle of the week, we had the place to ourselves until the last morning. Lovely garden and gazebo where we had wine and cheese in the evenings after sightseeing all day. Paul was most helpful in suggestions for our sightseeing and also fun to visit with. Spacious rooms (ours was the Waydelich, and our companions had the Gutenberg guest room) and private bathrooms that seem so luxurious after staying in cramped hotel rooms for a week prior to our arrival. Bicycles for use were an added plus! The town of Obershaeffolsheim is a quiet suburb of Strasbourg and we welcomed the friendly atmosphere and quieter pace. One of our favorite places during the entire two week holiday- highly recommended!
