Chinon

A lovely place to stay on the outskirts of Chinon, easy to walk into town. The gite was very cool in the hot weather. There is a good sized shared swimming pool in an attractive setting.
Very friendly and kind owners who know a lot about the locality and especially Chinon wines.

Two person gite at Les Cathelinettes

It was with great pleasure that we discovered the Cathlinettes, a peaceful nature that calms all this in a huge field and next to a pool, what happiness. Very friendly guests. A room with everything possible, a home made lunch.

A short stay in Touraine

We had a lovely little weekend and we were very warmly welcomed by our guests who love to share the tastes and beauty of their region more than anything.

It's perfect.

A well-known website offers good prices at their house but they don't know... whether it's a pig or a bear, cancellation on their part.

Watch out for the maggot.

This guest house will delight travelers in need of peace and comfort. The owners are very welcoming and very good advice to discover Chinon in the best conditions.

Calm, comfortable, warm

Our room had everything e needed for a lovely stay, the breakfast were delicious and Sylvie  made some lovely home made treats, Roger and Sylvia were extremely friendly and spent time suggesting the must do places to visit in the area. The pool was a welcome sight at the end of the day.The accommodation was within walking distance to the town and chateaux.

A lovely quiet accomodation

We stayed 3 nights (early August) in the travel room, very pleasant and enjoyed the quiet little terrace. The location of the house is well located and has a wonderful view and a nice swimming pool. A very rich breakfast composed of fresh and homemade products. And finally close to many places to visit. A big thank you to the very hospitable and very friendly owners. An address to advise.

Very Happy Dijonnas

Super friendly, lovely hosts -  Sylvie and Roger - who helped me improve my spoken French immensely and are really knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the town, suggesting places to visit, and where to eat.
The room was really lovely, very comfortable, spacious and clean with a relaxing pool to use too - we had a terrace outside our room which was perfect.  The breakfasts were amazing as well - lots of homemade produce and all delicious!
Great location, just out of town but within easy walking distance to the main shopping and restaurant area - and museums/church/chapel/fortress etc 
THIS IS THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED -  IT WAS PERFECT !

Très amicale et charmante, Sylvie et Roger sont superbe. Ils m'a aidé améliorer mon français (à parler ) et ils ont suggère les endroits ( musées, forteresse etc) que nous pouvons visiter.
La chambre était très bien, confortable, propre et grande .....et il y'a une piscine aussi.  Les petits-déjeuners était incroyable.
À pied c'est dix/quinze minutes au centre ville où Il y'a beaucoup des restaurants, bars et magasins.
ÉTAIT PARFAIT -  LE MIEUX !!

Absolutely the Perfect Place to Stay with the Perfect Hosts

The room we had was clean and spacious. The terrace in front of the room is nice and quiet, for a good start of the day or enjoy an afternoon glass.The swimming pool is a treat after a long day of tourism. And the couple running this bed and breakfast is very friendly and helpful, and make a delicious breakfast everyday. If I travel to Chinon again, I will certainly stay here again.

Clean and good room, friendly hosts

At the end of August, we started our French holiday with three nights at Sylvie and Roger's. We had the larger, very comfortable room with a sky bed and a large bathroom, furnished simply comfortably and appealingly. From the long drive from northern Germany, we were quite tired of not wanting to go to dinner or have to drive. So first a refreshing bath in the adjacent pool, then for each one of us a cheese maker with a good wine. There is an offer for small snacks or even on pre-order a multi-course dinner menu. We enjoyed this on the 3rd evening. Sylvielights cooked so fantastically, Roger accompanied the meal with good wine and charm dishes, it was just a sight to behold. But basically the meal: breakfast every morning was just a simple meal, and then for each one of us a cheese maker with a good wine. There is an offer for small snacks or even on a pre-ordered dinner menu. We both enjoyed this dinner on the 3rd evening. Sylvielights was so fantastically cooked, Roger accompanied the meal with good wine
