This hotel is above average for the price. We were looking for an under $50. hotel and found this gem. The rooms are spacious, clean, with fridge, hot water, tv cable, elevators, comfy bed, and vent type air conditioning (that doesn't rattle). The free breakfast on the 3rd floor leaves something to be desired since it was only bread, jam, butter, instant coffee,and juice, but for an extra $1.60 you can get something better. You can't beat the price for $36.00 since it's fairly close to the Malecon. Be sure to ask to see 2 or 3 rooms for a choice and get an inner room away from a window unless you like to hear traffic noise through the night. We booked by just walking in.
