And I no longer consider myself young enough to go to this kind of place. Already in the neighborhood: it's important to take a taxi at night to get to or from the hotel. Whistling or clapping my fingers every two minutes has worn me out, and I didn't feel safe here. Besides, all the taxis told me that Guayaquil was a dangerous city. My room was good. Large bed, closet and ventilator. Bathroom and toilet are common. Cleanliness but the worst thing is the shower: I had trouble opening the water and people feel it's not clean.

For the young...

When I arrived at Munay (early in the morning) the owner who greeted me was not very kind... she almost didn't answer my questions. She made my bed in 2 minutes leaving dirty sheets, dirty handkerchiefs and dust everywhere. I don't think the structure is legal given that next to the shower there are burnt outs and hanging wires. The bathrooms don't offer good cleaning, the kitchen doesn't even. The kitchen is nice with the balcony and two adorable kittens. As an animal therapist, I feel like I'm saying that even these two kittens don't get the attention they deserve.

Unwelcome and dirty

Very friendly staff and easy to arrive from the airport, just a few meters from a Metrovia stop.

The location is not dangerous but at the same time not beautiful, very limited availability of food nearby late in the evening. The double bed is nice but privacy is relatively limited as you can hear guests chatting in the common area. I recommend bringing earplugs and a lock for the door.

Suitable for the young traveller

I highlight the kindness of the staff.The hostel in relation price quality is good, it is quite economical and has everything, whether breakfast included in the price, it has a kitchen, bathroom in the room, some countertops to store your things, terrace and balcony, plus it is near an excavation station.I think it lacks a little maintenance and looks perfect.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. Our room is very spacious and clean. The kitchen provides all the utensils you need to make your dishes. The only thing that is not insignificant is the cleanliness in the bathroom... already that there are only two, these feel locked up and rarely have to be cleaned... Besides, there is breakfast that is included in the price but not counted as eating your hunger (a banana and a small slice of bread) and coffee one in two in the morning... The advantage is that it is really the price of guayaquil because it's all expensive.

It's not expensive, but...

The staff that cares very well, the owner is nice and I'm sure that those days I was volunteering very well, but I was very careful, I didn't clean up during my stay, I slept in a horrible bed the first night, the next day I was changed and it was much better.
