Comfortable, spacious, quiet, cheap. What more can I ask for? The best hotel in Rakovnik makes sense to me. I go there regularly. It's also very conveniently located near the great Rakovnik square. Very cozy breakfast.

Calm and spacious

Instead of a hotel room, as indicated on the booking platform, we were given (at an admittedly low price) a functional but ugly and quite uncharming backyard room on the busy bypass road.

♪ Some kind of unloving quartering ♪

Hotel in the center of town. The apartment I had had an entrance, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. Breakfast is to be ordered the day before to avoid too long waiting.

Business travel

This hotel was a real find in the very heart of Rakovnik. I was here to photograph a hockey tournament and the staff could not be more helpful. I availed myself of both their hotel and their apartment accommodation. Both excellent. Breakfast was wholesome and, if eggs etc were ordered, they were cooked freshly for you. The room was immaculate and very well equipped. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town. The overwhelming benefit of this hotel, however is the people who run it. The manager and his staff went out of his way to orientate me in the town and get me to my location. I will certainly return with my family.

EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

Good small hotel with clean and good size rooms. At reception at least one person speaks English. Very good breakfast with a large variety of warm and cold items. The warm meals have to be ordered at reception the day before by filling in a card (coffee, tea, cheese & ham toasts, eggs, sausages, etc). There is also yoghourt, orange juice, fruit, cereals, Czech croissants filled with jam, different bread and rolls, and a large selection of toppings/spreads.

Clean and in the town center

First time I have such issue into an hotel : the reception gave me the keys, I went to the room and this one was not cleaned (bed not done, dust evreywhere, minibar empty, etc.).
Moreover, wifi connection very bad in the room.
If you can, avoid this hotel.

Unacceptable

On a business trip we went to this hotel in the centre of Rakovnik. + Secure entrance: you ring and you are opened + free Wifi + breakfast you can make yourself in the evening: sauces, omelettes, eggshells, etc... + full breakfast + the room consists of an entrance with closet, with shower and toilet access, an office corner, a double bed, cable TV with French, Russian, Polish, German channels, etc... - the parking is on the central square of Rakovnik + the parking is free... - when you go out in the evening, think about leaving the door at the reception, the moment they know you are out and don't forget you... +++

Hotel in the city center of Rakovnik at 1300 Czk

We booked an economic room as the apartments were full. The economic rooms are about a half a block away from the main hotel and above a hardware store.  The rooms were spacious and clean yet spartan,but for the price an excellent deal. It was a little odd that we had to unlock three doors and walk through a somewhat barren courtyard to get to our room and there was no one on site. I could not figure out how to use the phone so I had to walk back to the office to ask a question. There is a refrigerator, hot plate, hot water pot and some cooking and eating dishes and utensils, so if you are staying long term that might be a plus. It was quiet and we did not hear any street noise. We did not take the breakfast as if I had to walk back over there I might as well go to a local cafe which we did. This is a sleepy little town, when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon all the stores were already closed except a small food market. But it was pleasant and everyone was very friendly, however, being outside of Prague mostly no one speaks English. I did not see this as a problem, just making other travelers aware as some people think that everyone here speaks English which they do not.

Clean and comfortable

Great little hotel in the centre of the main square in Rakovnik. Their larger rooms are good and facilities are what you would expect - desk, separate shower and toilet and plenty of storage. Breakfast buffet is good. Building is secure. Staff are very friendly and speak English. Excellent prices too.
