My apartment on 5th floor was huge. it had a balcony facing west, fully equipped, washer, fridge, freezer free wifi, and even had 2 loos. It was clean and staff very helpful and pointed out supermarket (5 mins away) and metro and buses It is 5 mins walk to metro Krizikova stop and 3 stops into old city (=70p ticket, about 10 minutes). Day travel ticket is £3.60. Metro stops at 11pm. Bus 24 stops nearby. Taxi is £8 from old city. Avoid the Czech wine as it is very rough Food and alcohol is not expesive Recommend all the usual old city stops etc, but also try the Kafa museum I also hired an electric bike and had a fabulous day out along cycle paths to Karstejn castle (about 30 - 40 km). The bike does 25kph and has a range of about 50km on the flat. You can leave bike there and train it back or get a fresh battery and cycle back
