Penzion Nicolsburg

Mikulov is a beautiful place absolutely worth spending at least a day (and night) if you are crossing the Czech/Austrian border. We planned our trip on last minute and were looking for accomodation at 21:00 in the evening, yet still the owner of Pension Nicolburg was very friendly and he even gave us a really nice discount compared to the booking.com price. The rooms are simple, but clean and there were 2 towels for each and even a small chocolate. And even a bathtub in the bathroom! The owner is superfriendly and runs the place in a trully relaxed way - eventhough we've spent there just one night, we felt like a family. We stayed out late and partied outside of the house, but they still offered us dinner (roasted chicken, smelled really nice, but we were already full) and wine (we had already made arrangements at a different place). Overall: it is a nice (if simple) place with friendly owner and you definitely won't regret spending night (or several days) there.
