We go to the cottage regularly every year in spring with families and children and in autumn with friends without children. The cottage is great for both types of stays. We really like to use the sauna, we go on trips around the area and this year we tried the outdoor heated bath for the first time and it was amazing. Thank you very much and we look forward to the next time!

We where one week, in the beginning of september, in the cottage with a group of 7 older men. It's a good place to stay. Rooms are ok, good kitchen equipment and a lot of space in, and around the cottage when you are there with a bigger group or several families The cottage has something very authentic. Good quiet location with nice views.
The host (Martin) was very kind and helpfull.

We spent two days at the place, and I can say I was not disappointed. The place was nice and clean, furnished with all you need to spend a good time, the location is perfect and the owner was so helpful ! 
I absolutely recommend you to spend some time there.

Really lovely, well-equiped and decorated mountain cottage not far from the highest mountain of CZ, Snežka, with the possibility to go on various hikes or enjoy winter sports if possible.  The cottage is located on a hill above the village Velká Upa providing with a lot of privacy. You will find many possibilities how to spend your time there and enjoy to the fullest.

Communication with the owner before arrival and during the stay was very pleasant and easy.

The mountain hut “U Hančilů” is a beautiful traditional Czech cottage, fully equipped and splendidly decorated. We watched the sunsets on the veranda and drank wine in the gazebo. We also did many hikes in the surrounding mountains “Krkonoše”. Recommended to everyone who wants to espace the everyday and explore the other-worldly.

We spent 10 days in U Hancilu. It was perfect time. The house is huge and you can feel very private. It"s very good equipment. there is sauna and very nice terrace. The house is enought for 18 person. You can delight nature and peace. Near are some restaurants.

U Hancilu holiday house is cute and pleasant dwelling with touch of traditional mountain rustic style - perfect hub for hiking, skiing and biking trips in the Eastern Giant mountains. It is located at silent place highly above the valley, though still in walking distance from the village centre. Large stone terrace and surrounding grassy estate oriented to the west invite to afternoon chill-out gatherings with glass of beer and piece of juicy steak on the available grill. Friendly and helpful owners may arrange barrel of Czech beer at prior notice. The house is fully furnished and equipped with dishes in two kitchens, there are a couple of three- to four-bed bedrooms and also two spacey living rooms. Bicycles could be locked in the basement room and there are parking lots right next to the house. We enjoyed our weekend stay in a group of 15 friends, having decent parties in the evening and various bike trips during the day. We can really recommend this accommodation!

We stayed in this cottage for a weekend. It was wonderful. The cottage is very big and cozy. U're like in museum, lots of interesting things to look at. 
Sauna was nice too.
We enjoyed time staying there.
Owner is very nice and friendly man, when we had some problems , he reacted quickly.
I recommend this place.
