Great location, friendly staff and nice room.

Very conveniently located. We got an Uber from the ferry terminal to the Pile Gate and then rolled our suitcases through the Old City right to the hotel, and it wasn’t too bad. The only thing is that they don’t have an elevator so you will have to carry your bag up the stairs, which could be 2-4 sets depending on which floor you are on. But the hotel and staff were great! They also mailed back my fiancé’s phone which we forgot there. Highly recommend this hotel!

Loved my stay at Art Home Arthur. Although I had a positive impression based on guest reviews and the photos, I was even more impressed in person. The property is very clean, nicely decorated and in a fantastic location. There’s even a restaurant a few feet from the hotel. Entrance to Pile Gate, as well as, the city walls walk is a few minutes walk. The staff are helpful and pleasant. I took the airport shuttle (15 euros return) to Ploce Gate and walked to the hotel which took less than 10 minutes and easy with a carry-on luggage as there are no stairs walking along Stradun to the hotel. However, the return trip to the airport by shuttle could be challenging for some, especially those with large or multiple luggages as it is uphill and in a different location than the drop off to the Old Town from the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place. Hotel people and driver waited several hours to pick me up and let me in my room, due to a weather flight delay.Nice, friendly, professional. Nice room, great location. I do want to point out that the European idea of a first floor apt is different from an Americans. My first floor apt was reached by a set of stairs, but it wasn’t a problem. I would definitely stay there again.

Had an amazing stay here in Dubrovnik. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful checking us in, supported us with an early check-in, and gave us a lot of details of things to see while we were in the area.The room was neat! Very well maintained and clean, and pretty stylish. Location could not be better.

Check-in was quite easy and straightforward once I located the hotel. The staff at Reception with very nice and helpful and showed me to my room. They were always polite and pleasant throughout my stay. The room was perfect for my needs, with everything you would expect. The room was very clean and fresh looking. I stayed on the first floor, sometimes I might hear people talking as they walked up and down the street outside the hotel. But I had also read this in a previous review, this didn’t bother me, and it just seem to add to the whole experience. The hotel was very centrally located, with everything just a few minutes walk away. If I was to go back to Dubrovnik again I would definitely try and stay here again. Value for money, this hotel was outstanding.

The hotel is located on a flat level in the old town. It was easily accessible with luggage. It is walkable to all sites. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The amenities within the room itself were great. I felt as being at home. I really enjoyed my stay.

I traveled my way down the Croatian coast with Dubrovnik as my last stop.  The staff at the hotel werevery friendly and accommodating.   They help carry my monster suitcase up the stairs and allowed me to store after check out on my last day as.my ferry to Italy was very late in the day.

Great location in the old town- quiet and accessible … no stairs to the hotel which is great ! Basic room with cute decoration, no room service or no shampoo/ soap  etc provided so make sure you bring your own. Have to clear your own rubbish (which is surprising to me!) . Make sure you have macho man  to carry luggage to your room (only stairs) !

The hotel is very well located in the old town. Although it is close to all the action, the area where the hotel is located is relatively quiet at night. The hotel is small with lots of character. The room was a good size and very clean. Nice decor which complements the character of the building. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Location is very convenient- just a couple of streets next to one of the main gates to the old city.My room was at the top floor- no elevator- however the reception was very kind to help me up with luggage.The room was very nice and also clean. The only negative was there was a bad drain smell coming from the bathroom, i had to keep the window open the whole time.

My wife and I spent four nights in the Art Arthur Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is really well-located in the Old Town, just a minute's walk from all of the main attractions and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, allowing us to check in early and giving us a warm welcome. They had provided instructions on how to find the hotel - which was very helpful - and at check in gave us tips on what to see and where to find good food. The room was well presented and cosy, with a good size bathroom. It was scrupulously clean and the decoration gave it a lot of character. Being at the other end of the main avenue through the Old Town, it was very quiet at night and the shutters kept out the street lights. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again if we ever returned to Dubrovnik.

Hotel was easy to find and near the Pile Gate, ideal if you have heavy luggage. Location is in a prime spot in the old town next to everything. Check in was quick and easy. The host was a very nice guy, friendly and helpful. He pointed out all the must see attractions for the town, carried my luggage up the stairs for me and showed me to my room. The room was clean, well presented and fully equipped. When stuck the host even helped me find a place to get some nice dairy free ice cream which was a big plus for me 🙂Overall it's a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend.
