We stayed at this hotel during our visit to Zhangjiajie and were happy with both the level of service and the accommodations.  The lady who checked us into the hotel, Wang Dan Feng, was very helpful in guiding us on our visit to Zhangjiajie.  Commendable service that impressed us.

This hotel is close to the airport and is close to many resraurants, together with Tianmen mountain cable car station.

The room was perfect, verry big room and verry big Window,also the bathroom was ok,the bed comfy.The hotel is verry good situated,verry close to the cable car.We stayed there 3 nights.The first morning was a night mare,,,to have breakfast,,the brekfastroom was crowded,,all the tables dirty,shouting people,I had to wait 45 minutes to get 2 fried eggs,,but the next day somboddy told us that there was a smaler breakfastroom on the same floor,,and we could order there our breakfast,,ouf

Nice hotel with great staff

Verry big Hotel

Location: 5 mins drive from the Airport, large property. Had to bargain with the Taxi driver and cost us 20 (vs. RMB 10 on the meter)

Room: Fairly basic room, dated furnishings, hard bed but not lacking in any aspect. We were given a Smoking Room (mix-up on the booking website which didn't specify our requirement). The late-night staff spoke limited English, but weren't able to offer us an alternative room. They arranged for some air-cleaning treatment, but this didn't help much.

Staff: The late night reception staff, and the morning Concierge didn't speak English, but were friendly and we were able to communicate with them via Translate apps

Breakfast: Basic breakfast catering to a primarily Chinese audience. We got by with fried eggs, toast and rice congee

Quick overnight stay on way to Wulingyuan

Average hotel - very good location, nice rooms but could be cleaner,  poor restaurant for breakfast, I do expect more in term of service from such hotel - to be cleaner and also I ordered king size bed and got two beds

Very good hotel

First of all, instead of greeting you at the door, the staff try to sell you stuff, keep in mind this is a 5 star hotel. This place is extremely bad for non-Chinese speakers and families, nobody speaks any english at all. Laundry and spa/massage services are not only limited but also expensive. Complete disappoint, pool is only open in various times of the year, no spa. Room prices may be cheap during the off-peak season for a 5 star hotel but your better of getting a 4 or 3 day hotel instead.

Horrible experience

We stayed here for one night as part of our China tour visiting the National Forest Park.
The room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and the bed was very hard. The carpets were stained as was the armchair. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The bathroom was a fair size but needs updating, the towels were threadbare and had been patched . At breakfast the next morning there was hardly any choice, some small slices of white bread , no butter/margarine, overcooked fried eggs. There was a variety of Chinese dishes but nothing appealing. No fruit juices but a limited amount of fresh fruit. The plates cups and cutlery were all plastic. We were booked to stay 2 more nights but cancelled and moved to the Crowne Plaza. This is not a 4 * hotel- more like a 2*. Don’t stay here if you can help it!
