This Hotel is a fantastic location and a hotel which looks like a grand hotel.. Lots of Marble, bellboys, high ceilings and chandeliers. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Both rooms and food are great, I would not hesitate for a second in staying here again. We loved it.

    What was good

    The hotel is located close to one of the main attractions of Shanghai - Nanjing Road; proximity to the subway; accessibility of interesting places of Shanghai just in 1-3 metro stations; many inexpensive shops and food courts nearby.

    What was bad

    The hotel requested a deposit of 1,000 yuan, which they refund upon check-out if "everything is OK". For a tourist who came to Shanghai for 3 days with only 2,500 yuan, 1,000 yuan is a decent amount to part with durin
