EAST Hong Kong

My wife & I really enjoyed our recent 2 week stay at the East Hotel HK (Nov 4 to 17). Guest Relations Manager Ms. Celia Yip had graciously walked us through the hotel & showed us a room per our request in our previous visit to HK in September (while we stayed at another hotel). We were so impressed by Ms. Celia’s gracious service showing us around the hotel & by the cleanliness & good facilities of the hotel, & by the very nice room (deluxe room category), that we booked to stay there this trip. We’re more than happy with our experience at the East Hotel. The staffs, most notably Ms. Celia, together with the Front Desk team: Ms. Vivien who checked us in nicely, Mr. Sanjay who kindly & patiently showed us in detail how to walk to the Tai Koo Park & the Quarry Bay Promenade Park (both very near the hotel), Mr. Man, and especially young Mr. Humphrey (who was on morning shift) who helped us call a taxi in the early morning when we checked out to go to the Airport for an early morning flight. Ms. Maurie, the house keeper from the House Keeping Dept & Ms. Bo Bo — both are so nice, so polite, so cheerful, & so helpful in cleaning our room & making our stay very comfortable. The Gym staff in the hotel, Ms. Judy is so nice & so welcoming according to my wife who had her daily morning work out in the gym. A Big Thank You to all the nice staffs there! The hotel is located right next to the Tai Koo MTR Station on HK Island side, and is within the City Plaza Mall in the Tai Koo Shing area which has so many good shops & nice restaurants & eateries, 2 food courts, and a nice supermarket, and nice (& reasonably priced) restaurants in the Tai Koo Shing neighborhood all made our stay at the East Hotel so convenient & so enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again when we extend our stay in HK next time soon.
