Only 20 minutes from the airport in the Nanming area, which is not central Guiyang, but is close to all the historic sites that you may want to see. Very tall building, cold open reception with a few shops and two very slow lifts. Rooms seem to be on floors 4 and 5 and then on floors 23 and 24. The breakfast room is on floor 29, but the lift only goes as far as 27, so you need to walk the last 2 flights of stairs. When you get there, breakfast is Chinese style, not very hot and with no tea or coffee, so either bring your own or make green tea in your room and take it with you. The rooms are a good size with good facilities and nice hot showers. Can be noisy on the road side at the front.
