The Century House B&B Ottawa

Beautiful home. The host was lovely. Absolutely immaculatelt clean. Great location. Delicious breakfast. Close to everything.  I will be oing back and i highly recommend for business or pleasure travel.

Lovey stay in Room 1 at The Century House B&B.  Clean, beautifully renovated century home in central area that was quiet at night, on-site parking, and Vittorio is an attentive and friendly host who prepared delicious breakfasts.  Highly recommend!

We stayed two nights at The Century House, in room #1 at the front of the house. The room was spacious and the decor was lovely, with room for a desk in front of the window. The bathroom was tiny, which is to be expected in a house that is over 100 years old, and the water pressure in the shower is weak. However, the towels were lovely and thick, and the linens on the bed were very nice. I found the bed to be very comfy, but DH found it a bit soft.
It is an easy walk into town, and it was great to be able to leave our car at the B&B. Vittorio was very helpful, giving directions on the safest way to walk into town, and warning us about all the construction (there is construction every where, including the parliament buildings)!
Breakfast was tasty, with a frittata, hashbrown potatoes, toast and fruit. We left very early our second day, so missed out on breakfast #2. There is a coffee/tea station, and a frig with bottled water for guests to use.

The B&B had been recently renovated.  The host was friendly and helpful.  And the B&B is about a 15 minute walk from the Parliament buildings and other attractions.It was great.

We stayed here while in Ottawa for a few days.  The B & B is very clean and comfortable, and Vittorio was very friendly and welcoming.  Close to amenities, it is are within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions.  The breakfasts were lovely, and they were different every day that we were there.  Be aware that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, but there is downstairs.  Also, you are asked to remove outside footwear in the B & B.

Vittorio is a great host and makes you feel like coming home. The B&B is in outstanding good condition and very well taken care of. Everything is so clean! Breakfast is great and all homemade. Location is also perfect to discover Ottawa. 
Highly recommended!

Excellent location for a walking visit of Ottawa.  The Host was very accommodating and the breakfast was superb and non-rushed.  The room was comfortable although a bit small. Parking was off-street, lighted and safe.  Thoroughly enjoyable and will return.

A Quick Visit to Ottawa

Loved the breakfasts

We were on a two week road trip, this was our favourite B&B, lovely room, spotlessly clean, all the facilities you need, lovely big comfy bed, breakfast was spot on, freshly cooked each morning, 8-8.30am, which was great time for us. 
Easy walk into the main areas of Ottawa. 
Parking safely at the b&b is also a bonus (after Ottawa, our hire car was stolen from the hotel recommended car park in Montreal!). 
Vittorio was a great host, welcoming & easy to chat to.
We had evening meals in Khao Thai & Cornerstone Bar & Grille, both were good. 
We visited Gatineau Park, walked round all the city centre sites & did the Amphibus tour which was something different!

Fab ultra clean b&b

Lovely accommodation centrally located. We were able to walk to the majority of museums and galleries on our wish list. Uber trips to other locations were all less than $15.  Vittorio is a wonderful and attentive host. Breakfasts were all first class. When back in Ottawa we will definitely stay here.

Great Find in Ottawa

Vittorio was an amazing host and chef.  Our breakfasts were delicious and eye catching.  The room was also extremely clean.   Vittorio was also gracious to allow us to park our car and even check in earlier.
On a side note, the bathroom was very tiny though, and the bathroom fan was quite loud. It would have been nice to have a hair dryer in place, but we will definitely consider going back when we are in Ottawa again.  Great central location to everything in downtown where we could easily leave the car parked and walk.

Fantastic, very clean location and amazing breakfasts!

We just spent two wonderful nights in the Century House BnB in downtown Ottawa and we are still raving about the experience. The house has been beautifully renovated while preserving the original charm and our room was literally perfect. Comfortable, quiet, and relaxing.
The owner Vittorio was amazing. The breakfasts served were over-the-top delicious and so far beyond the typical micro buffet of toast and granola. 
This is a absolute “must stay” and we will be back.

An incredible BnB in the heart of Ottawa

This B&B is clean, well appointed, with very comfortable rooms.  We were lucky to have Room #4 with fridge & microwave. The owner, Vittorio, was welcoming, affable and easily accessible by email/text, (replied to questions within minutes). His breakfasts are a culinary delight and we highly recommend you look no further for your visit to Ottawa. 

A gem in the heart of Ottawa. 

This B & B is in a great location to access all the sights we wanted to enjoy. It is only a short walk to parliament hill. The house is newly renovated and very clean. The breakfasts were very tasty and healthy. The room was comfortable, although it is missing a comfortable chair to relax in. Would have been nice to have a space to sit and read for a bit. All in all a very good clean place to stay while visiting Ottawa

First visit to Ottawa

We stayed in The Century House B&B in early September 2022. We found the house relatively easily. Tastefully renovated house with some lovely features. Comfortable room for a B&B and delicious breakfasts on both mornings. Location was very central with only a short 5-10 min walk to Byward market and the Parliament area. Vittorio was very welcoming and overall we had a great stay at the house.

Flying visit to Ottawa

Our stay at this place far exceeded our expectations. We took a weekend trip away from Toronto to visit the nation's capital. I called the host the day before and made a reservation. He was very friendly and accommodating.

Secure self check-in and the interior has a warm yet chic and modern vibe. Following COVID protocols to this day, the place was extremely clean. The location is top notch in terms of proximity to major attractions. The attached bathroom, had all the necessary amenities including quality shampoos and body wash. It is understandably small so you have to aware of your surroundings.

The gourmet apple pancake breakfast was exquisite, memorable and a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended. We'll be sure to stay there again next time.
