This is a real northern gem. The beach is beautiful and you want for nothing. Stand up boards to canoes sunshine and fishing, they have it all. The staff are wonderful and the memories are there forevermore. Go, enjoy and you will love it! Thank you, sunbeam, until next year  🤗

Excellent accommodations and resort!
I spoke with Darren and Sarah (owners) about the celebration I was setting up. As a group of 22 guys with an age range from mid 30’s to mid 40’s, I was looking for a resort with cabins that could handle a few specifics. We would require balcony’s and bbq’s per cabin, a fire pit with an abundance of wood and an outdoor common area to play some cornhole and toss a frisbee around during downtime. We were granted all of this and more. This family run resort sits on the best beach on lake nippissing with some of the best fishing available. As our group trip was designed primarily as a golf tournament, we were unable to take advantage of the rental boats to drop lines in the water, however we did enjoy a few bevies in the laidback loungers at the beach. 
Darren and Sarah went above and beyond to help with this event I planned by providing great restaurants we could cater from as well as replenishing our fire wood supply mid burn every night. When we were out golfing every day, we were welcomed back with smiles and golf conversations as well as a freshly raked common area. Sunbeam Bungalows is a well manicured / maintained resort that is run by a hard working, tentative to detail family. 
Anytime I need to setup an event or head north for a weekend, I’ll be staying here. Unbelievable service!

The pictures don’t do this cottage resort justice! Very clean facilities.  Cottages are well equipped and maintained. Lots to do for all ages. Beautiful beach. Great options for activities on site. Hosts are so welcoming and helpful. Pet friendly.

7 of us stayed. Rooms were cozy. Everything we needed was included (BBQ was great to cook on every day) The grounds were immaculately kept and owner was incredible. He answered all questions/requests and made our stay what it was. The beach however was THE BEST part!!! Water activities and toys and BBQ and firepits. We spent most of our time here. We will for sure be baxk next year (the family has already been discussing dates hahaha)

Is is our 4th season, vacationing at Sunbeam Bungalows, once again Sarah and Darren have gone above and beyond to make their guests comfortable and welcome. We went from July 11 to July 25th, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but it was still a great time. Good fishing and the barbecue and beach party was still a success while taking part in social distancing in the COVID time. I give this cottage resort a 5⭐️ rating and highly recommend going there.

Firstly I apologize to Sarah , Darren and family for not writing a review before this. This will be our forth year booking the Cottages  and our family will be so disappointed if we can’t enjoy this home away from home again this year.  It has become our family summer  highlight.    From the time we arrive Darren and Sarah go out of their way to ensure you are looked after in every way.  They are exceptional hosts.  Property is well maintained, cottages are clean and well kept, and lots of fun activities too enjoy.  Beach is lovely and having the boat for fishing or to just enjoy a lake cruise is an added bonus.  If you want a place to relax and enjoy I would highly recommend  booking at Sunbeam Bungalows. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

You can tell this place is loved by the people who work there! Every cottage is well kept and updated frequently, beautiful floors and furniture. Each cottage has TONS of space inside and out, with private sitting areas and shared sitting areas alike. The beach is steps away and STUNNING, beautiful sandy beach with all sorts of boats available for renting. The owners are so lovely! I will absolutely be back!

They sweep your decks, they clean off the picnic tables daily. Each morning they scrub your boat before you get in it so it is pristine. Ever day a person rakes the complete grounds.  The cabins are immaculate.  Camp fire and chairs well tended.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom with queen and 4 singles with our 3 kids. The cottage was very clean and had everything you needed.  They had fans and indoor and outdoor chairs for 6 ppl.  The beds were comfy.  The grounds are beautiful and lots of things to keep the kids busy with basketball, badminton, playground, shuffleboard plus all the beach items.  The weekly BBQ and live band and fire on the beach are great!  The kids had an awesome time at the treasure hunt also on the Friday! The only part that I didn’t like was that you can’t see the water from the cottage, but we knew that when we booked it. That is the only reason we wouldn’t come here again as I would prefer beachfront.

Darren and Sarah are a tribute to the service industry.
Cottages are well appointed with all that you could want and they will accomdate any request that is within their power.
The dock provides a fabulous place to sit and relax under the gazeebo and know that your boat is very safe behind the huge break water.I have been fishing lake Nippissing for most of my life and has never failed to disappoint me and my family with her wonderfull bounty and world class sunsets.

Our Summer Family Highlight

Wonderful Spot!

Welcome. That’s what you feel from the first contact with Darren right through your stay. The cabins and grounds are super clean. Anything missing from the well equipped cabins is brought to you within minutes of asking. There’s a fantastic beachfront area with lots of seating, a propane fire bowl and boats are included. It makes up for not having a view of the lake from most cabins. 
We’ll be back.

Amazing three Days at Sunbeam

Great cottage resort!

You won't want to stay anywhere else

We rented a three bedroom cottage here and it was amazing.  The cottages are SUPER clean ( rentals rarely are!) and its well equipped.  The cottages have a east coast Nantucket feel - they have managed to keep the character of the cottages while adding a coastal touch to them.  Charmingly simple, clean and efficient.  The cottages are private and the area is quiet. They have generous decks with BBQs and plenty of seating.  The whole grounds within this little resort are well maintained and the beach is gorgeous. The owners Darren and Susan are amazing.  Darren was welcoming and his kind deposition makes you feel at home the minute you get here.  There are canoes, kayaks and a paddle board for renters to share.  Motor boat rentals are also available.  The location is perfect.  Its close to grocery stores, restaurants and North Bay is a stones throw away. 
We will be back !
