Beautiful colonial-style house wonderfully decorated, excellent comfort despite the shared bathrooms, warm home, wonderful breakfast prepared by Patrice, possible access to swimming pool, beautiful garden and close to the city centre.

Superb old house all comforts with charming welcome

Nice welcome as if we were longtime friends, very nice historic home warm and comfortable, thank you for the contact for the dining restaurant that has a beautiful view of the lake, we loved your mascot, breakfast with plates of fresh fruit and flowers of the Garden of all beauty and very much enjoyed keeping the bikes in your garage safe.

A Peaceful Place

Very nice house, well maintained by hospitable and friendly owners. Nice quiet room with refined decoration and refurbished with integrated climate in the rooms. Good quality bed and cozy breakfast served by the boss in the dining room or you can share it with other guests. Nice place to recommend to stop on your trip. Don't be surprised if in the middle of the night, your bed moves.... The railway is nearby and emits vibrations up to your bed.... Fortunately little passage and rather funny than anything else... :)

It's a beautiful step.

It's a beautiful Victorian house decorated with a mansion. The reception is warm and above all the best breakfast of all our hostels in Quebec: a real search of the owners to surprise us with impeccable table service. After that, we have the disadvantages of this particular universe: a single shower to share for 4 rooms and a reception accompanied by many (legitimate) limits of such an environment: no shoes in the house, prohibition of opening windows, no shower in the 2nd sdb, parking of the vehicle outside the property.

Exceptional

In addition to arriving in a beautiful Victorian-style house, the reception is warm and friendly, we feel at home! Breakfast is coming down and we can enjoy the Jacuzzi in the pretty garden after a long day of D activities... What else?

The class

We spent three days in this hostel. It was a beautiful, very clean, quiet and comfortable place. The hosts are extremely caring and generous. Their good mood, service and, above all, their delicious little breakfast dish make it a classroom people and no doubt inspires the desire to return. We were happy and relaxed. What a lovely place!

First of all the owners are extremely welcoming, smiling and kind people, the hostel is in the same vein, everything is clean, charming, and we just want to stay.

A time of pure pleasure

I stayed at this B&B for one night as I was visiting a relative in lac St-Jean. The house is beautiful and impeccably kept. My room was comfortable and quiet. The bed was nice and soft with lots of pillows. They have two bathrooms. One with a nice bath tub and one with a shower. I enjoyed a relaxing bath during the evening. A spa is also available outside but I didn't try it. I sat on one of the comfy chair + ottoman on the covered balcony to read and watch the sun set. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was spectacular.  I am not used to go to B&B and was a bit nervous at the perspective of having to have breakfast with strangers but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. I would go back and enthusiastically  recommend this B&B!

Comfortable and quiet

We booked a stay at la Nymphe des Eaux at very short notice. As soon as we arrived, we were so very impressed by the house and the warmth reception from the owner. Both Melissa and Stephane lived at the house and were really helpful and attentive to every detail. 

The house is amazing and the room was so nice, we decided to stay for a second night. Don’t be put off by the shared bathroom, as they are very clean. There are actually two, so there was always at least one available when needed. 

Whatever you do, do not miss breakfast. The food is home cooked, sourced from local suppliers and it is absolutely fabulous. Expect a very big and delicious breakfast which will keep you energised for the entire day! 

We enjoyed a late evening romantic Jacuzzi in the garden under the stars. Stephane brought us a jug of icy water, which was really nice. We also enjoyed some private time on the upstairs balcony: what a treat! 

We will certainly go back as soon as we can.
