The first room we refused smelled like a cigarette, the one we were in is right, but the TV is blowing up every two minutes, and there's no reading lamp for reading in bed, and the size of the room is perfect.

Very average motel, old man, do not hesitate to look at the sheets as soon as you arrived, our upper sheet was torn, we demanded and offered another sheet without offering to make the bed again.

Watch out for the bedding!

The rooms are old, the sink is not in the bathroom which is not very convenient. The heating is a little complicated to understand, the old smell persists even after ventilation. No salt for breakfast. We had two dinners, the first one with a bad chicken, the next one was a little better.

Unpleasant smell when entering the room (humidity or cigarette?!) Furniture and overall appearance more than old and horribly decayed. Cardboard walls, you hear what goes on in the hallway of the hotel as if we were there and vice versa. The sheets seemed clean.

This motel/hotel is located just off the major highway into the Saguenay.  The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and we had a newly renovated room with plank floors which is a much better option than carpet.  We were impressed that they actually provided real glasses and cups instead of plastic and more motels/hotels need to think about doing that.  There is an exterior door into the parking lot for quick access to your vehicle.  There is also an interior door which leads to the lobby and breakfast room so you don't have to go outside.  Breakfast isn't included in the room price but is optional for a few dollars extra.  Room was very clean and comfortable.  Great stay.

It's a little old-fashioned room to cool off at all costs, because if not, it's pretty well done, good staff welcomed, breakfast left to eat too, not top of the line what a shame.

Drinking water

The hotel requires a serious refreshment to match the indicated comfort level. Mild rooms that smelled like cigarettes on the edge of a loud, passing national. Fresh paint in the rooms, lined transparent sheets, curtains draped, carpet and dirty bed covers... with the hotel forgotten, reservation for dinner in the morning. The next day, we had a very brief breakfast in the restaurant room on the 4th floor on wooden tables. The standard 3* is probably superimposed or not the country standard.

Renovated

A room on the 3rd floor with balcony was still a rarity, and I appreciated this advantage. We were on the river side but couldn't see it - however the location of the hotel still offers a view of the city. Restaurant on the 4th floor - lunch included and very acceptable (1 egg with meat, roasted and coffee). I ran across some strangers in the corridor but I later found that the hotel was well guarded. Comfort and cleanliness are very acceptable.

The beds are a little too hard, the floor was dirty black...the buffet lunch was not included and a lot too expensive, even with our discount of $5 per person (more than $60 for 4), we even got charged our 3-year-old daughter $7, who didn't eat anything...I didn't digest that much at lunch, it wasn't worth the price...But I liked the fact that the sink was separate from the bathroom, very convenient for a family.
