I brought my family to stay at this location in August of 2020. The chalet was very clean, and well maintained, and the beds are very comfortable! The free wifi was very fast, which is a nice change from what you usually get with free wifi access. Staff were friendly, and the overall property was well maintained. We loved the short walk across the boardwalk to the beach which is also quite nice, and well kept. This was our first time staying in the area, and we were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do with our family.

All the comforts of home.   No better place for a work getaway.  And steps from the beach.  Nice get away from the city in a salt air.  Group of 14 well accommodated in multiple cottages.  

Well kept, lawns are immaculate and cottages are clean and well maintained.

We attended a wedding in Cap Pele so we rented a chalet with 3 bedrooms in case anyone needed to crash there. Three double beds and a pullout couch gives more than enough room for anyone who may happen upon your cabin. At $160 a night, it can't be beat. Beautiful view, other chalets aren't close so you have privacy. Rooms and spacious, entire place is clean. 

We loved everything about this place, we feel so lucky to have chosen it. Their website doesn't fully capture how great the site is, how quiet it is, how nicely the grounds are maintained, etc. We have three cottages/three families and we were all happy. Easy check-in and very friendly; nice grass in front of cottages for kids to run around barefoot; cottages are well stocked including bathroom towels, toilet paper, tea towels, etc.; the kids could be loud and jump around in the cottage but you couldn't hear it outside; drivers seem to go slowly so it never felt dangerous for the little ones playing out front; gorgeous easy walk to the beach along the boardwalk through the marsh; beautiful beach; sturdy accessible ramp down to the beach that made it easy for our big wagon to get down to the beach. The beach! There are a couple of full-time staff keeping the restaurant/bathroom area pristine. There wasn't a single time I used the beach bathrooms when it wasn't pristine, always someone in there cleaning and maintaining as well as the rest of the building. They do such a great job. And everyone is just so friendly!

I enjoyed my stay at these cabins very much. They include everything you need for a wonderful vacation. About a seven or eight-minute walk from the beach via a direct boardwalk, they have an excellent location for a beach stay, but I used them for day trips to locations in southeastern New Brunswick and the Northumberland area of Nova Scotia.

	Check their Web site for the layouts of the three types of cabins they rent. All come fully equipped, and I mean fully! All you will need are beach towels, beach furniture, kids’ toys, and highly specialized kitchen equipment. I brought a large container of cooking items and used none of them.

	The simplest cabins have two bedrooms, a bathroom, and one large room for the kitchen, dining, and living room. Cabins are spaced 10-15 meters apart so they are quiet. The curtains are thick so it is very dark at night and even for afternoon naps. The TV is 32” with lots of channels, many in French.

	My only complaint is that the lighting is not strong enough and reading in bed is difficult for two people. Also, a screen door would be an excellent upgrade. No air conditioning, but I don’t know if it would be needed; I had a strong breeze during my stay.

	All in all, an excellent place to stay.

I love staying at these Chalets. We get together and stay here for a weekend once a year. Very clean and well priced. Close walk to the beach. Great food in the area. Nice area to visit and explore. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice little quiet getaway.

What a great place for a conference.

Great Place!

After working with the owner/operator to book our family reunion for the summer of 2020 since the beginning of 2019 we were put off and put off being told their “computer system” was being updated so they weren’t taking bookings until summer 2019 but were assured our block booking was reserved. As there are 58 of us we wanted to be on top of it. After numerous phone calls back and forth and being delayed and delayed until October then January we were told just 6 months before the reunion that they’d sold some of the cottages and could no longer accommodate us. It is now too late to find an alternative location for our event. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable to be lied to about the state of the business. Don’t book here if you expect something reliable!

Unreliable very unprofessional

I want to start by saying that my parents first started going here 20 years ago, so we are very well aware of the deterioration of the site over the last few years. This was probably the last time we stay here. The cottages have literally not changed other than the TVs and mattresses since the late 1990's. we rented 3 separate cottages in August 2019. They all had the same issues, kitchen not cleaned properly, cracked tiles in bathrooms, filthy railings, blood and  dead bug spatter on ceilings and walls, holes in furniture (loveseat/ chair) decks are lopsided and outdoor furniture is flimsy and unsafe to sit on.  Outdoor lights were burnt, and the fixtures  are so rusted .
The utensils in the kitchens are useless, so bring your own if you go. We found mouse droppings in one of the 3 bedrooms in a dresser drawer as well as on a bedspread. One of the kids found that she had beg bug bites when we got home, and I did notify them, with little response other than they would have pest control go in and let us know the results, which we are sill waiting even though we followed up. On a positive note the staff is friendly and it is close to the beach, but the owners really need to step up and put some money into the cottages.
