Our room was clean and comfortable and this one was made for the next night. We would have preferred a room with a little more sun penetrating it to minimize the humidity factor that is high in this area of Quebec. But everything else has largely compensated to enhance our stay like the fabulous décor of the inn, good wifi, the ability to make small, rich lunches with some good coffee, the superb friendly and simple reception of Gary, a guy frankly friendly to multiple passions. It's still strongly recommended to book after the extreme weather conditions that we're going to see in Quebec City and part of the style that is in the main road, so we've been able to book in advance with a few hours of coffee, and then we've been able to book in advance by phone, and we've been able to check out all of the options, so we've been able to book in advance, so we've made a few minutes of our time, and then we've been able to book in advance, so we've made sure that we're able to book in advance, so we've booked in advance, and we

We'll keep a good memory of our two nights.

Very large room. Very comfortable mattresses. The grocery store is a short walk away. But it's the breakfast that makes it the perfect place. In the kitchen you use yourself to make toast, omelettes, bagels. There's cheese, eggs, yogurt, muffins, etc. Everything. No nonsense. I like that.

A pleasant stay

My room was very spacious with great views to the sea. I could walk over to the only restaurant. 
unfortunately my room could not be darkened completely because the blinds were partly defect. The bathroom was very small. 
iIhad to get the breakfast out of the fridge to prepare it surrounded by sleepy personal.

not well cared for

Gary was so enthusiastic about his area, shared stories of whales and life in this beautiful area. Went beyond the normal reception of the 4 of us. Although fog prevented us from seeing the whales and other scenes, we count our visit to the hotel as memorable and exceptional. Self cook breakfast and kitchen so tssteful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone using the ferry service.

Hospitality at its best

My husband and I received a friendly, warm reception from proprietor Gary and his mom upon arrival. This is a family-run operation so warmth and coziness abound. Our room faces the Gulf and while we were checking in we could see whales spouting and breaching from the front windows. What a treat! A puffin sanctuary island is down the road and grocery store up the road so convenient for necessities and nature observation. We liked that the kitchen was open each morning for guests to make their own repast from assorted breads and spreads, bagels, eggs, cheese, cereals, fruit, juices and coffee/tea. Room was cleaned and tidied daily. A convenient place to stay close to ferry and  to explore both southeastern Quebec and the southern Labrador Coastal Trail.  Lovely helpful hosts and cleaning staff. Thank you to Auberge 4 Saisons for a memorable stay!

A delight and close to ferry to St. Barbe!

Nice clean place, friendly staff. Lunch; must do, but plenty of choice of cereals, bread and coffee. Very nice view of the living room, on the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Free parking available. Small but functional rooms. Open all year round.

Travel for training

Nice welcome from the proprietor. Small but very functional and very comfortable rooms. Wonderful kitchen installation and dining room space for a do-your-own-breakfast (and other meals). Close to the Ferry between Blanc-Sablon and St-Barbe Newfoundland. Best place in town.

Everything you need.

This motel is very well located (looking towards the sea) and the rooms are very clean. The owners are very welcoming. For those traveling with small animals, the owner mentioned that he was offering a 10% discount on the room price. The motel is located 5 minutes from the ferry to Newfoundland. The kitchen is accessible at 3am and there is much more choice than a regular continental lunch.

A warm welcome

We managed to get the last room when the whole southern shore was booked. The proprietor, bless him, was offered extra money to give up our room. When we booked, we told him we would be very late arrivals. He kept our room & we arrived after midnight. Room was small but comfortable. We did not cross the strait until 10:30 so we had plenty of time to have breakfast which was included. Make it yourself which was cool. Would gladly stay here again. 

We were pleasantly surprised

Although the weather during our short stay did not meet our desires, and the darn black flies made standing outside a real pain, we enjoyed our stay here.  Our host was very friendly and good tips on what to do.  Unfortunately, not many places to have an evening meal...but a very generous breakfast!
