Sad to learn the motel was closing at johanne's in addition to everything was demolished i loved this place in addition to being close to everything a nice place good service nice approach to the owner really it was a plc that i frequented a lot

I stayed 3 days in this motel as part of an organized trip. Decoration more than old-fashioned, torn sheets, stinking carpet that dates back to the construction of the motel I think. Wifi available between three and four in the morning, while the others are actually sleeping without counting. Electricity prices leaving you wanting and finally placed on the edge of the national balls will do nothing for you. Good lunch (but identical for three days) in a basement room.

If you like the '50s...

We arrived there late, without booking, and were very friendlyly welcomed there, and we also enjoyed the cheapest room of our entire stay in Quebec. The room in question was very good: comfortable bed, bathroom and gadgets (TV, hair dryer, refrigerator...) as expected and expected. Very clean room. The road is close but we were not disturbed by noise or anything at all. A safe value for tight-budgeted routers who keep a certain comfort at a very reasonable price. Thank you Christine!

It's a really nice reception and a fair price.

The owners of this motel are very hands on.  Exceptionally clean, well price and so close to the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.  If you are looking for a family oriented or simply travelling alone this is a great place to stay.

Great place - Great Service

My wife and I stayed three nights in this hotel as part of an organized trip. We were frankly seldom so well received: the staff is very attentive with you. The furniture in the rooms is not new but it gives a retro look that we enjoyed. Anyway, everything was clean with a properly equipped bathroom.

Simple but frankly nice.

The motel is located along a rather noisy road. The rooms are very clean, comfortable but look old-fashioned. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but the beds are good. The bathroom is in order but the electrical installation is weak and does not allow the coffee machine and a hair dryer to run at the same time. The Wi-Fi does not work well. The staff and management are in the small care with the customers; any problem is solved immediately. Kindness is exceptional. The continental breakfast is delicious and copied with kindness and care. The management ensures that the customers are greeted and that everything goes for the best with great care.

A simple but very welcoming motel

We wanted nothing fancy for the night and that is exactly what we got! All the motels looked about the same and rather than go door to door, we picked the one with my name on it (Joanne)! No discount for this or anything else. I feel we could have done better, but who knows? Our room was 2nd from the highway and with all windows closed the traffic noise was deafening! Hence the bedside fan. The people were friendly. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Restaurant right across the street and another next door.

The motel, just like all the other motels and hotels in the area need some serious updating.

The motel was very functional, everything you needed and nothing you don't. The location was good, only a few minute drive from Mont Sainte Anne, and walking distance to a few restaurants. For the price it was a pretty good spot, especially once you consider you'll have to tack on the 15% combined province and federal taxes.

On par with other dated motels in the area

It is a most convenient, well kept motel, next to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré basilica and not far from Quebec city. An excellent starting point to explore the Quebec City area and the region of Charlevoix. The staff were most accommodating and courteous, the room very big and well maintained. Everything worked properly, there was no noise, and we were pleasantly surprised to see such a great room with two king beds, a living-room area and a fridge, coffeemaker, etc. at a more than affordable price. It was an excellent stay. I will go back there without hesitation.

Excellent place to stay at

The accommodations were as we expected.  However, upon checkout we were presented with over $500 in extra charges.  When attempting to ascertain why we were charged extra, we were given the run around by the owners, were accused of lying and treated in a very condescending manner.  Management declined to provide documents that they say proved that we were not just renting a house, but, that we were also paying per person; a fact that was never disclosed to us until check out.
