Spring Guesthouse

I checked into this place on a whim, and it turned out to be one of the nicest places I've every stayed at. The main thing was the room. For seven dollars, it was large, not too high up, clean, quiet, comfortable mattress, bathroom OK, absolutely no insects (rare for phnom penh), the wifi was great the whole time I was there. I stayed there for an extended period and noticed the same foreign faces, i.e. there seem to be quite a few long termers. There were a few places to hang around, some benches on the landings, and the reception is spatious with more seats and a lounger. If I had to be very picky, I was say that sometimes the staff seemed a little unmotivated, but they did all speak English, were helpful when I requested something and generally OK. Perhaps the job is bit boring for them? It didn't detract from the stay though. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for longer stays.
