Feeling Home Hotel

I recently stayed at Feeling Home in two different rooms over a 4 week period while doing a volunteer project in Phnom Penh. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, the quality of the rooms and the cleaniless was very good, the Yi Sang restaurant below where I could eat my breakfast was excellent, and the location could not be better in terms of major sights, a plethora of food options, bank options, groceries, etc. My first three (solo) weeks were in the main hotel on the third floor. I really enjoyed the balcony, views, and great light from the wrap around windows. Mr. Somnang and Mr. Dora were always extremely helpful when I had questions or needs. When my husband and daughter arrived for the last week, we moved to a more spacious “apartment room” which had kitchen amenities: a table and chairs, large fridge, a stove, some pots, plates, utensils, etc. The BKK area has so many great choices for eating out, we actually never made dinner, but we did enjoy making breakfast and keeping lots of drinks and snacks in the big fridge. The views and light in the apartment room were top notch, and we didn’t mind walking up the many stairs to get them. I felt that the rooms inside the hotel are a bit quiter and feel more secure for a female solo traveler at night. The apartment rooms are great if you want more space, a big fridge, and don’t mind being a bit more “on your own” since the door opens to a stairway that leads out to the street. I would recommend this hotel for the value, excellent location, super helpful and kind staff.
