Pousada Noa Noa

We stayed at the Pousada Noa Noa for three days. The Pousada itself is very nice, well decorated and cosy with a terasse overlooking the beach and a fantastic view of the sunset every evening. We had the pleasure of meeting the French owner, Nicolas who greeted us warmly. The place is ideally located between the two beaches and on a street with lots of different restaurants

already 10 years im going every years to Salvador and i try a lot of hotel but since i stay at Pousada Noa Noa, im back there every year. Location is perfect and safe, close to the touristic atractions and the shopping center (i love it hehehe). There are also in front of the beach.
Now they have a pizza retaurant inside the pousada and it's just AMAZING. You can eat your pizza on the safety terrace in froint of the sea drinkink caipirinhas (i drink a lot of caipirinha hahahah).
i'm back there for the canaval also because they are located in front of the circuit and dont have to pay a lot of money for "camarotes"..and its safe >>> very important for me !!!

Not a bad place to stay although we had couple of issues getting placed. We were supposed to stay at different place that was overbooked online so they brought us here. We were offered a small room near the restaurant with no windows. I wasn't too impressed with it so they offered us another room upstairs. That one looked fine. We needed to book our flight for the next day so we stayed in lobby and by the time we were finished and somebody was able to speak with us, they told us they made a mistake and had no more room either. It was around midnight and we were exhausted and annoyed, so the person who was running the restaurant, sometimes the front desk, went on cleaning a smaller room by the front desk so we could stay there. Not sure how and if this room was efficiently cleaned, but he seemed to change the bed sheets and made an effort so we stayed. The room wasn't anything fancy, but worked. The best thing about this place is the view from their restaurant and breakfast area, right onto the lighthouse and ocean. It's a great location to stay, there are restaurants nearby, close access to the beach and the lighthouse. Overall not a bad place to stay. Breakfast was good too. Young man at the front desk/restaurant was trying to be helpful as he was the only one who spoke some English.

Ocean front 

Great stay, great place

very good location and great pizza restaurant

The place is located quite good, with a very good view on the sea and close to some beautiful beach. Staff is quite friendly. The breakfast is nothing special and the rooms are not expensive but relatively expensive. Therefore they were clean.
There is a room which has a bunk bed with no latter to climb up, you need some Fitness to get up the upper bed.
The place contains also a pizzeria so there can be foreign guests there to eat, especially in the evening.

We, a family with two children were staying for a week in the pousada. We were looking forward to our stay: The website promised us a great time in a great hostel. When we arrived we had to realize that the website is completley outdated. The pousada is for sale now. Most of the services that were announced on the website did not exist any more. Only one guy, who managed the bar in the evening was speaking English. He was really enganged to make our stay a great stay. However, the toilet did not flush well. Sometimes it work, sometimes there was no water for flushing. In the end I learned how to repair it on my own.  The cew in the morning did not care to much about the guests. Our daughter is not allowed to eat gluten. Therefore we had to ask everyday, which dishes are gluten-free. We asked, the guy went to the kitchen, and told us. On the second day we asked.... Everday the same procedure. They did not care about it, and the gave us the feeling that they do not care about us. Therefore we do not recomment to stay in the pousada. The location next to the sea is great. But it is obvious that the owner do not look after their pousada. Therefore the pousada run down. The owners just want to sell it.
