We arrived in Extrema by car late at night, hungry and tired. There was little accommodation available but we were sent to this pousana by another hotel. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly. She organized food to be delivered from local restaurant, Renato's Lanches, and showed us to clean and fresh rooms. Our delicious meals arrived promptly and we ate in comfort in the dining room. The pousana provides basic accommodation and is clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable tariff. Good coffee, breads, chicken pie and cheese. Basic, but generous and tasty. There is also good, free wifi. All in all a very good experience. Recommended if you have some Portuguese. I was traveling with locals so communication was easy as I only speak English and have very little Portuguese.
