we stay 3 day in Chasqui del Sol, it was a monderful place and cheapear price.. i wil be back. thank you very much!!!!! 
to wake up in the morning was an awesome...........!!!!!!!
nice breakfast and nice room, so big and with a private bathroom.

Basic hotel, receptionist offered us a room on the 5th floor, with no elevator.  was suffering from altitude sickness and by the time i reached the room i was going to die, BUT as soon as I saw the view of lake Titicaca i forgot all the pain!! 
Breakfast waiter very grumpy, not the most comfortable bed either & they told us that we have a t.v in the room, but forgot to mention that it doesn't work!!

The view from the room is worth it!

We stayed here for two nights having paid 160bs a night. The location is great and our room had a lovely view of the bay. A lot of renovation work seemed to be going on and this is well needed as our room had plug sockets hanging out, peeling paint and a mouldy old shower curtain. It got quite cold at night without a heater and the hot water takes about 5mins to come through. Breakfast is ok but does include real coffee which is a bonus. Overall, for £16 a night, this is a decent option if you're happy with no frills.

Basic, well priced budget hotel

Right on the beach, no frills, rooms are clean mostly without televisions. Charming building. Can be noisy. There are a lot of stairs! No heat in rooms but hotel will provide space heater.

Simple accomodations, good value for the money

In short: very bad service. Rude and unreliable staff.

More details:
Shower curtain is badly installed, leaving a large gap at the bottom. As a result the floor gets wet after each shower. 

We went out for dinner. When we came back at 11:45pm the gate was locked. There was no bell to ring. We knocked and waited for a long time but no one came. I climbed the wall and jumped inside. Everything was pitch dark. Reception and all other public areas were closed and there was no one to be seen. I went back and helped my girlfriend climb the wall.
The next morning at 7:00am there was no water. We complained about it and 10 minutes later they turned on the water. 10 further minutes later there was also hot water.
When we spoke to the receptionist about the gate incident she said it could not be true because there were people at the reception and other areas all night long. (obviously, she was lying). She also denied that there had been no water in the morning, and added that in any case guests are not supposed to take more than one shower per day. 

When we returned to the room in the afternoon the room had not been cleaned. At that point we decided to leave this place and look for another hotel.
