If you are working on a budget but do not want to suffer on quality then Hotel Gomel is a fantastic choice. Located next to the central train station. Easy access to anywhere in Gomel thanks to the taxis and bus services nearby. The accommodation I got was about $40 per night and I had a small apartment. The staff do not speak English but it isn't a problem. I had stayed here previously and will do so again in the future.
