The Villa was amazing.steps from the beach. A pool right outside the door. A fully equipped kitchen…and Elsa was our housekeeper…she was wonderful. Best lodging ever in the Caribbean! The Villa staff set out chains and umbrellas everyday…the views were incredible! I will definitely be back.

We have stayed in 3 different units at Old Trees.  Cassuranas, Firefly and Bella Vista.  Out of the 3, Bella Vista was the best for our needs.  We are only 2 people so Firefly was huge and we only used 2 of the bedrooms.  My husband is a pianist and Firefly does have a nice grand piano.  Bella Vista does also and that was more of the size that we needed.  The staff at Bella Vista is the best of the 3 also.  Allie, the housekeeper is amazing and very friendly.  She anticipated every need.  We also had a wonderful cook named Shantell but she does not come with the unit.  We might have stayed longer except for Coronavirus and we took the last JetBlue back to Boston.  After we left, the country went into total lockdown.  Of the 3 units, Bella Vista does not have the splash pool.  We never used it anyway so that was fine with us.  The grounds keepers and security men are also super nice.  We can't wait to return to our lovely Barbados.  We have also rented many single family homes there but love the security of a condo and being on a higher floor.

Barbados hospitality at it's finest!  A truly relaxing experience from start to finish.  Thank you Old Trees, your accommodation was lovely, the staff warm and friendly, and the setting really lovely. Great location right on the beach very close to Sandy Lane and main restaurants. Water sports nearby.

We had stayed several times in Barbados at hotels, small inns and villas.  This trip included family members so we looked for a villa with at least two bedrooms and baths.  So glad we located Old Trees.  The villa (103) was exceptionally spacious and incredibly detailed.  This is a three bedroom, 3 1/2 bath.  All bedrooms are on-suite baths...very nice.  Great kitchen and awesome deck overlooking the pool, beach and ocean.  Being on the second floor had a great overlook but ultimate privacy.  Very small building so no crowds, loud noise or parties.  The owner, Vincent, was a wealth of information and exceptionally easy to work with. Jan the house keeper is a gem.  Carter at the front gate real nice guys and helpful.  Perfect location, close to restaurants, golf, shopping, Bridgetown and only about 30 minute to airport.  Beach chaises are put out each morning by Adrian with umbrellas matched to unit, so no resort "toweling" of chairs at the beach.  
We cannot wait to return to Old Trees!

Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with my family of 6. The accommodation is great - 3 en-suite bedrooms, huge lounge and dining area, adequate size, but very well equipped kitchen and large terrace looking on to the beach.

All the apartments are privately owned and are decorated differently - some are laid out differently too -apparently ours (which was on the first floor) once had a plunge pool but the owner boarded it over to make a massive terrace.

We also had an amazing chef (he had represented Barbados in an international cookery competition and won - he had also worked at some of the best hotels and restaurants on the island) who would cook whatever we wanted whenever we wanted it. We also had a housekeeper who was very well organised and kept the place clean - the apartment had a utility room which she operated out of.

Location was great -right on a beautiful beach and a short taxi ride to Holetown (or you could walk it).

There is a fresh water swimming pool but it is just a few feet wide and meanders through the garden.

When you book you can ask them to buy food for you for the first day. Be careful - amongst other things, we asked for lean back bacon which apparently is a rarity and massively expensive (£100 for 4 small packs) - ask for local bacon instead. Best to get most of the stuff when  you are there  - our chef was happy to pick some stuff up on the way in to work, but if catering for 6  there is a limit to what he can carry! Supermarket in Holetown was good value.

Downside - flights to the UK take off in the evening and check-out time is 10am. You can spend the day on the beach using the Old Trees sunbeds but apart from the shower coming off the beach there is nowhere to wash before travelling home.  If you are lucky and your apartment hasn't been let for the following week, you can stay in it a bit longer or (as we did) your housekeeper might be able to get you use of another apartment's bathroom.

We are coming to the end of our fortnight's stay in Old Trees and we have loved it. The apartment is so spacious, everything works, nothing is too much trouble for your housekeeper and your sun beds on the beach are ready for you every morning

Had a fantastic Xmas holiday, apartments are large and everything works so well, pool is lovely and the beach perfect, the team work so hard and put the beds out for you every morning, all the staff are wonderful
