12 reviewsWe stayed in Pension Rosengarten for a short ski holiday in November. The hotel owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The bedroom was clean and a good size with a TV and a modern good size en suite bathroom. The bedroom had a balcony with spectacular views of the surrounding scenery. On our first day we noticed that the shower head did not work correctly so we mentioned this to the owner who replaced it immediately. We opted for half board accommodation and were served a continental breakfast with a good selection of cereals, muesli, fruit, breads, cheeses and cold meats along with fruit juices, teas and coffee. The 3 course evening menus were displayed at breakfast and were also very enjoyable. The hotel is located 20m from the main road through Lanersbach and the nearest bus stop is within 2-3 minutes walk. As we were there in November the complete ski area had not opened but the ski buses run every 20 minutes and the journey from Lanersbach to the base of the lifts for the glacier is only 10-15minutes. All in all a very pleasant stay in a nice friendly family run hotel.
