Its a 3star hotel that does not pretend to be anything else.  Room was basic. A bit short staffed so the reception person was doing multiple jobs. Decor is dated but gives it character. There was no shower gel in the shower but the staff went out of their way to help and got me some. Really great service from staff, they all try and ensure that the guests are looked after. Great location.  I would definitely return.

I would come back

During our race bike tour through Austria, we stopped by one night at the Sun Inn. Very friendly reception. The atmosphere and the beer garden were very nice. We were allowed to park our bicycle overnight in the enclosed basement. In the beer garden we enjoyed a typical Austrian meal. It was simple, good and the salad buffet was rich. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was small, but it was enough for a shower after cycling.

Simple, clean, friendly

This rating only applies to the hotel. I haven't visited the restaurant. The hotel advertises being a historic building. The hotel may seem a bit of a home to me. There is also smoke coming through the staircase. But: in the rooms, you don't notice any smoke. The room itself seems soberly furnished (you can also say unkindly and combined). The bathroom is also historic - a throwback to the 1970s. It definitely needs to be renovated. The breakfast is more or less the usual: jam, cheese, root average. Not bad, there is no wow effect. There is no washing point. However, it is not a free lunch. However, it is relatively cheap to leave at 8 pm for me, no matter if you want to leave a few minutes away from the hotel, even if you want to check out a few minutes before the park or the park.

For one night, it's just like...

It's a typical guesthouse with dirty rooms, not just visited by locals, a nice beer garden in the yard with a good floor plan and real portions.

Poor staff availability: had to find someone for check-in, restaurant was busy but not enough staff. Lobby smelled of cigarette.

We had a stop on our way to ski in Fiss. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the hotel is in the center but quiet, good parking nearby. Food and Drink typical austrian in historic furniture, friendly staff. Nice continental breakfast, good coffee.

Lovely big rooms with good facilities. Restaurant served good food with pleasant service.We were displeased that the restaurant could not add meal to room bill (apparently it had already been prepared) and then would not take card for less than €50.Also the corridors smelt a bit smokey (room was fine) and all tables in restaurant had an ashtray and most were being used.

Lovely hotel, easy parking, good location

Was on my way southbound and needed a place to sleep in Austria. The village was nice, and the hotel looked nice as well. However, it was a bit worn down. But if you just want a place to sleep, it will definitely do. Dinner at the hotel was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful

Okey for one night

Helpful bar man with a fag in his mouth. beds like piles of stones church clock strikes all night every 15 minutes  Bar woman more interested in nursing a dog and smoking fags than looking after customers Breakfast just a bit of dry bread and jam.    To lazy to go up the street and bring back a nice croisant, woul not stay again.
