Very decent, old house, well maintained. The room was a little small, clean, the beds good. The service is courteous, polite and competent, the kitchen very good, wishes are pleased to be fulfilled. We enjoyed our short vacation, will come back

Feelings of wellbeing

We had a nice offer, but we were welcomed very kindly. The manager of the house seems a little distant at first, but when you talk to him, a friendly, empathetic person comes along. The waiter who shops with the boss is the most diligent one I've ever experienced. The room was not the most modern, but it had a great setup with plenty of storage space. The food was good and enough, there was nothing to eat.

It's a wonderful location, cheap.

Summa summarum: truly idyllically situated, ancient, well-maintained courtyard, unpretentious-looking interior, rural seventies ambience, nice, small hotel rooms with balcony on the threshold between functional and cozy, but almost by the bank away disappointing kitchen performance

Shortly after a lovely bathing day in Schallerbach, we went to the old-fashioned Hotel Grünes Türl. There were hardly any guests present because you should have been stuttering. Well, the meatstrudel soup was slightly acidic (not salty) The Cordon Bleu from the calf, meat max. 2mm thin, extremely fatty panades, potatoes tasted like fried fat. Pig medallions, very tight and tasteless, the asparagus had already experienced too much sunlight (blue spices), the potatoes were not best to eat. Dessert went so far, adding ice cubes and counting separately (old times). We needed rooms. A restaurant has already been damaged far behind the luck of the times.

The Hotel Grünes Türl has been through much better times 

Every time the food is delicious, quick and the waiters are very friendly and attentive, the man with the glasses! The atmosphere in the old farmhouse is cozy and richly arranged - to make you feel good! It would be desirable if a vegan dish were on the map!

Very good food and super friendly waiters

Because of the good judgment, we were in the restaurant for two consecutive Sundays. The kitchen is very good, but... after we had waited 20 minutes for the bill after just one question (the superior said the boss was on the phone) and we were waiting patiently for the bill, the boss came to collect. I still kindly told him that he had strained our patience, but it was fine. I didn't hear about an apology, but when he calls a customer, we have to wait.

That's not the way to deal with customers, boss.

Very quiet hotel, with its own large parking lot and children's playground. Some of the rooms are newly renovated. The beer garden is very cozy for dinner. What we can only recommend is that the food is very good and the portions are large. Book the half-board! The breakfast with a large selection. The senior chef and the boss always make a lot of effort for the guests. The waiter was also top. We come back. With the guest ticket, the entrance to the spa is reduced by 50 percent once.

Nice newly renovated rooms

Third stay here. Every time a very friendly reception and excellent service. Very good kitchen, restaurant always perfectly oriented and nice staff. Newly equipped rooms, all fine, happy to return. Hiking options and a short walk to the wellness oasis Bad Schallerbach.

A short vacation, a change of scenery that's long overdue.

Because besides us, there were only four smokers in the room, and for two guests not to lock down the non-smoking section, it would be too much trouble with the service.

We weren't allowed to eat in the non-smoking bar!

It is not the first time we have spent a few very relaxing days in the Green Türl (in conjunction with a great thermal stay). Very quietly laid out and equipped with rooms that have just been very nicely renovated, this inn keeps attracting us to elevated levels. The sensational kitchen around it contributes its share, our secret tip was, are and remain the marilla palatschinken - incredible how much a simple dessert in itself can delight when it is prepared by such an artist. Chapeau! Even the breakfast buffet is varied, and on request you also get a soft piece of eggs unflavored.
